What is Asuras?
SNK, located at Esaka, Suita-city, Osaka, Japan, has created a big video game title "Samurai Shodown" for many years. In 1997, SNK showed us a latest version of Samurai Shodaown "Samurai Spirits" under their 64-bit hyper NeoGeo system. In the version, Nakoruru was reborn. Some Nakoruru fans blamed SNK for the revival becuase in their Samurai Shodown world, Nakoruru was killed by Rashoujin Miduki.
In "Samurai Spirits" under 64-bit polygon NeoGeo, "Kaitei Yuga" (Destruction Emperor Yuga) was the strongest enemy.
This time, SNK developed a new version of Samurai Shodown titled "Samurai Spirits 2 Asuras' Demon Slayer Legend" in 1998.
In the system, the strongest character is also Kaitei Yuga.
"Asuras" is a newly created character. He was an ancient swordsman who had been confined by Kaitei Yuga for a long time.
After the battle between Nakoruru and Rashoujin Miduki ended, Kaitei Yuga appeared in Japan. Yuga looked for Haohmaru. After Battles among Yuga, haohmaru and Shiki ended, Asuras woke up.
Asuras came on in order to revenge Kaitei Yuga. He wears a black costume.
In the system, another new character is developed. His name is "Taizan Morozumi." He was a fighter. Thereafter he worked as a calligrapher with his wife and a child. Yuga reappeared in front of him. Yuga killed his wife and his child. Taizan decided to be a fighter to defeat Yuga again.
On the other hand, you must remember Galford and Nakoruru.
Galford is still a Koga-Ninja fighter. He was born in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. He still has a dog. His dog's name is Poppy. He loves her without return. This time he goes to her in order to court her.
In Samurai Shodown 2, it is said that Nakoruru was killed by Rashoujin Miduki. Stories in Samurai Shodown 3 "Zankurou" and Samurai Shodown 4 "Amakusa's Revenge" deal with the era before that of Samurai Shodown 2.
In the "Samurai Spirits 2," Nakoruru is still a warm-hearted and kind lady who loves greater nature. Of course, she is an Ainu. Her weapon is her father's keepsake, a small-sized sword.
Her falcon Mamahaha came back to Nakoruru. After the battle with Rashoujin Miduki, she slept at a forest in Kamui Kotan and was cured by Holy Ghosts of Greater Nature.
When Kaitei Yuga appeared in Japan, she woke up again.
She began to fight against the evil. However she caused complications between the lifestyle as a normal woman and the responsibility as an Ainu shaman.
