Hideaki Anno's New Work is"Kareshi Kanojo No Jijou" which is broadcast by TV-Tokyo since October 1998.
On 10/02/1998, TV-Tokyo started Hideaki Anno's New Anime "Kareshi Kanojo No Jijou" at last. A lot of anime fans in Japan have been looking forward to seeing it for a long time. These two years Hideaki Anno made real performance films rather than anime.
This work is his new age anime which is different from his former works.

19. What's Top's Chocolate Cake?
The original cartoon drawer Masami Tsuda likes cakes. She showed several chocolate cakes in her comics. In Kare-Kano, Souichirou and Yukino ate Top's chocolate cakes in their randezvous.
By the way, Top's chocolate cake is very popular and famous in Japan. It tastes good and very sweet.
It is very different from Austrian-type chocolate cake like "Sachertorte." Top's chololate cake consists of three layers of sponge cake and milled cocoa cream. The color looks like flesh color. But by exposing the cake to the air, its color turns into so-called chocolate color.
Formerly it was sold only in Tokyo district.
I work in Tokyo at present again. I used to buy Top's chocolate cake at the basement of TBS Hall along Hitotsugi Douri street, Akasaka, when I had worked in Tokyo formerly.
Therefore I was transferred from Tokyo to other districts. For example, in Nagoya, Top's cakes had not been sold yet. I got a "Cake-Refugee."
Thereafter I found a good cake at a cake shop "Herbs." Herbs' cakes was sold only in Nagoya. It tastes excellent and was very large. (Herbs has Kyoto branch at present.)
Two year later, Nagoya Sakae Mitsukoshi, a large-scale depertment store, former Oriental Nakamuraya, began to sell Top's chocolate cakes.
As you know, at present, you can obtain Top's chocolate cakes at Osaka Umeda Hankyu Department Store and Kyoto Shijou-Karasuma Daimaru Department Store. (If you want to know about Daimaru, please refer to my Kenshin site... Daimaru has my measurement and pattern file for wears for these 15 years.)
By the way, after Warld War II, Top's & Saxon, a restaurant was founded in Tokyo. The restaurant is good at curried cook and chocolate cakes. It soon got popular and famous. Thereafter Top's & Saxon began to sell their chocolate cakes, that they call "Original Cakes," at the basement of TBS Hall along Hitotsugi Douri street, Akasaka. TBS is Tokyo Broadcast System in Japan. It is located near Tokyo Subway Akasaka Station.
On the other hand, Top's & Saxon has other branches, for example, Shinjuku LUMINE-1 (6th Floor) and Yokohama LUMINE (6th Floor).
Moreover several department stores in Tokyo and Tokyo International Airport (Haneda) sell Top's chocolate cakes. If you live in Tokyo, you can obtain Top's chocolate cakes easily.
