Parents
![]() | This is a picture of my dad back in Korea. This picture was taken on September 4, 1973. As you can see, my dad building something. It was the house that I grew up in Korea. Later on, after we moved to the US, my dad got his contractor license and has loved his work ever since. |
![]() | This is a picture of my mom and aunts. They are wearing the traditional korean dresses called "Han-bok". The occasion was my cousin's wedding. As you can see, from left to right, my mom and aunts (sorry, it is customary not to call elders by their names) are very beautiful. I'm surprised actually, most of the time, I have a hard time getting a good picture of my mom. She is always making a face. |
![]() | Both my parents are extremely hard workers. I have always known them to work their hands to the bone. They have worked long hours to put my sister and my through college. So it makes me happy to see my parents having a good time. They hardly go on vacations, so seeing them enjoy themselves makes me happy. |
![]() | This is a recent picture of my parents. Hmm, I should start taking more pictures of them. Once again, my mom is making a face. Hmm, maybe I should tell her that if she continues to make faces like that, it's going to freeze and you're going to look like that forever!!! |
