Yu Yu Hakusho is about Yusuke
Uremeshi, a delinquent who dies saving a child from a car accident.
In turn, he is killed and brought to the Spirit World. To his surprise,
Botan ( Death) tells Yusuke that the Afterworld was not expecting him
so soon and not even they knew that he would save the child. However, Botan
also tells him that the ruler of the Afterworld would like to speak to
him about resurrection. Yusuke first refuses to be resurrected because
no one in the Human World will care whether he is dead or alive. He is
finally convinced that people would actually care, so decides to try to
be resurrected. After certain trials he is resurrected and soon is asked
to be a 'Spirit Detective' who helps out the After World with finding/helping
with problems and assignments in the Human World. His first mission is
to stop 3 thieves, Hiei and Kurama are two of the three guys. Hiei
is a fire demon who stole a sword in hopes of taking over the Human World
and Kurama stole a mirror because he wanted to trade his life for the life
of his human mother. Laster on both Kurama and Hiei join the team. Kuwabara, one of Yusuke's rivals also joins the group. The series
spans 112 t.v. episodes with one OAV and one movie. The manga consists
of 19 volumes in Shounen Jump. Yu Yu Hakusho has been fansubbed by SilveWynd
Productions. However, fansubs of episodes #51-58 and #77-84 (email
"SMak00@aol.com" for more info on #77-81) are fansubbed or currently being
fansubbed. AND...I think it was A.D. Vision or was it Central Park
Media..WELL, another company has released the Movie. (I'll look it up later^^;)Character
