A skillful leader does not use force.
A skillful fighter does not feel anger.
A skillful master does not engage the opponent.
A skillful employer remains low.
"A skillful leader does not use force"-- Can you think of _anyone_
in the
entire series who has seriously disobeyed Kasumi? And yet she
commands
without force, without even raising her voice most of the time.
"A skillful fighter does not feel anger"-- I have only seen all
of the
dubbed anime, and have only read the first volume of the manga, so
I'm not
entirely qualified. (Ronin biiiiiiih's at all the purists.)
However, I
have never seen Kasumi get seriously angry. She doesn't need
to. Why
should she, when a few calm words in the right place can win her battles
for
her?
"A skillful master does not engage the opponent"-- If anyone is
a master at
bringing peace to a violent situation, it's Kasumi. Often she
does it
merely by her presence, having a calming effect. To me, this
qualifies as
not engaging the opponent, if your reputation is enough in itself to
solve
the problem.
"A skillful employer remains low"-- Kasumi keeps a low profile.
Often,
because she is so quiet you may forget she is there. However,
she will step
in with a few choice words if things are getting out of hand.
