• My opinions: My Fayevourite song on the album is "On Time", a beautiful ballad made even more beautiful by Faye's ethereal voice. It is very addictive and often I will play keep the 'repeat 1' button on for this song on my CD player. The other two new songs, "Guardian Angel" and the title track, definitely have a "Toy" EP feel to them, supporting the fact that all of Faye's songs releases in 1997 were recorded at the same time. There were no new vocals recorded for the three remixes which consist of too much sampling, rapping, and record scratching. All in all, rather weak and similar sounding but they do grow on you. Rumours suggest that Cinepoly is still holding back two new unreleased Faye songs for a later release.

• Phil from ??? says: "Faye's newest album "Help Yourself" is one of the most interesting albums that I have heard. The first song "On Time" is the most beautiful song that I have heard Faye sing, it is up there with "I'm Willing". Her vocals are simple and exact. She doesnt waste time prolonging the notes and instead makes her voice simple and brief. The next song "Guardian Angel" is not as good as "On Time" but it has special qualities such as hearing two Faye's singing at the same time (background vocals). The last new song "Help Yourself" is similar to "One Person, Two Roles", a good song nonetheless. The three remixes, are nothing out of the ordinary--they aren't very Faye-like. Personally I prefer the orginial version of those songs.

• Angie from Malaysia says: "Regarding the album, "Help Yourself", actually I am quite satisfied with it. "On Time" is definitely a beautiful good piece but I feel that "Promised" (from the "Toy" EP) is more melodious, anyway. I like "Guardian Angel" very much as I feel that this piece is much better than "Merely Appease" where both these songs are composed by Ka Keung. The background vocal by Faye seems to coordinate harmoniously with her vocals. When I first heard this song, the song seems familiar to me because the melody arrangement is quite similar "Being Criminal". "Help Yourself" is another alternative song that I like--with a feeling that continues from the "Toy" EP. As you mentioned, the remixes are rather weak. I can't really feel the "Historical Mix", "Discovery Mix", and "Universal Mix" as stated. Anyway, it is not too bad.
