Picture of Haley

Very few of you who will read this will know of who I am or what Haley Lynn Hasen truly meant to me. My name is Michael David Kelly and I was Haley's fiance. We met in the chat house on the night of July 30/1996, from that point on we began a very loving and always dreamed of relationship. Very quickly we fell deep into love and knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Within one month of first metting her I asked her to be my wife, she happily said yes. Although we had never and will never meet face to face we knew our love was and will be true for eternity. We were to first meet in the middle of December 1996 when she was to move here to Canada to be with me and start our loving and happy lives together. Haley had gone away for a week with three of her friends to tour Hiroshima, something which she had looked forward to doing since she first moved to Japan in 1993. On the night of November 3/1996 they were all out sightseeing and thier car was struck head on by a drunk driver, Haley Lynn Hansen was killed instantly. The girl who was driving the car, Yumiko, died about an hour later in hospital. The other two girls miraculiously survived the crash but one of them is now paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of her life. The other, although physically is okay, has been in a state of deep depression since learning of the fate of her friends. Haley very much touched my life in so many ways, it was because of her that I once again felt happiness and love, she was a very special woman who thanks to the power of the internet was able to help so many people through hard times and bring a warm smile to all she talked to. There is not a day that goes by that thoughts of her are not foremost in my mind and luckily I have now become good friends with Haley's best friend in Japan through who I am still discovering how special of a woman Haley Lynn Hansen really is. Her heart is pure and warm. Haley accepted everyone into her life as a friend, never judging or looking down upon, just accepting people as they were and seeing the good in everyone. Now that she has been called up to heaven, the world is shined on that much brighter and we all have a special gaurdian angel watching over us. I am going to keep this page up and add to it often as I think it will help me deal with my great loss and sadness. Haley Lynn Hasen you were a one of a kind person and will be greatly missed by all who knew you, and by none so much as me, your very loving and heartbroken fiance. I will love and remember you always Haley.
Warm loving hugs and passionate kisses
wherever you are my sweet.

For my Sweetie

Haley really loved poetry so I thought I would include a couple of poems for her.

HALEY

An Angel has been taken
lifted high into the sky
A true gem
One of a kind
Her job on earth was finished
She had only such a short time
She died to stay alive
Haley may you be at peace
And wear your wings with pride
So now she will watch over us
Her smiling face so bright
A comfort it will be
To feel her spirit soar
Haley you are a true treasure
and you will be sorely missed.
Sleep well sweet angel

Goodbye....goodbye..

MISS ME - BUT LET ME GO

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room!
Why cry for a soul set free!
Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me - but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone;
It's all a part of the masters' plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me - but let me go.
