Here then, is a picture of the above said pop idol. From certain sources, I gather that he was 16 years of age when he joined SMAP. That's pretty young. I wonder how he met the other SMAP members & however did they plan to start their own pop group?

Well, I was as usual, skimming for & watching Japanese shows on TV & by chance, I came across Friends In Need which starred Kimura. From then on, I made sure I was always on time for the show. Gradually, I began to realise that Kimura was not just a pretty face. I just like the way he acts in the show. In the series, Friends In Need, Kimura Takuya's character was portrayed as a cool guy with sensitivity. He was rather funny at times as well. Kimura's character & Hachi made a good pair.

Then, by chance, I got to know from a friend that Kimura was actually part of SMAP, a J-Pop group. I haven't heard any of SMAP's songs then. Some time after Friends In Need, Concerto was aired on TV. This time, Kimura was cast as an architect in a love triangle. He & a senior architect both vy for the love of a girl. The girl, is also put in a dilemma & doesn't know who to choose. Given the kind of choices she has, I would say that she shouldn't have any problems choosing. This is because the senior architect looks about 40+ years old! If I were her, I would choose Kimura straight away & without hesitation! But, I just don't know why the girl has such a hard time choosing her man. In the end, the 3 of them all live under 1 roof. Probably to save the girl from further migraines & headaches . . .

From the commercials on TV about the annual NHK red-white competition, I got to know that SMAP would be in this competition. Furthermore, the commercial showed Kimura crooning into a microphone. Any crazed Kimura Takuya fan would be sure to catch the commercial & also the red-white competition. As it was, the competition didn't prove to be a disappointment. Well, I only wanted to watch the red-white competition just to watch for SMAP & any other J-Pop groups. I don't know how to translate the name of the song that SMAP sang but it sure was a nice song. If you've been to the 1st page & the page about myself, the midi you were listening is precisely the song that SMAP sang during the red-white competition. There's 1 paragraph in the song where Kimura sings all alone. Ooh, his voice just sounds so beautiful! Not too high, or too low, but just perfect! Now I know why Kimura has so many fans. . . .

Oops, I'm blabbering here, ain't I? To sum it all, Kimura Takuya has good looks, a nice smile, cool style & a beautiful voice. Aren't those reasons enough just to watch out for him?
