Welcome to the webpage dedicated to information and statistics on South Hampton Roads basketball teams. This page was created mainly for the Middle Atlantic Sports News magazine, but can be used by anyone. If you have any questions or comments, please email me at: sixharts@erols.com. Please notice that South Hampton Roads (Public Schools only) includes 26 basketball programs which you can find listed in alphabetical order under the Records Section of this page. Included in this page is also Cape Henry Collegiate and Atlantic Shores Academy because of their superb private school basketball programs. If you need further information on other private schools, do not hesitate to email me. Thanks. Also, there are no graphics or fancy lettering on this page because they slow down the usage of it.

[-Top Performers-] Last Updated: February 15th, 1999 Top Performers includes a Top 10 of the single best point totals in one game by any player.

[-Games Seen By Matt-] Last Updated: January 25th, 1999 This portion includes a summary of a game Matt has attended with his insight on the particular teams playing.

[-MASN for Virginia-] Last Updated: February 11th, 1999 This section includes all the information the Middle Atlantic Sports News provides for the State of Virginia. Top 10, All-State Players, and more.

[-January 1999 Games and High-Scorers-] Final scores and high-scorers of all games played by one of the 28 b-ball teams in South Hampton Roads, in the month of January.

[-Holiday Tournaments Page-] Last Updated: January 5th, 1998 This page will contain the brackets, scores, stats and stories from all the holiday tournaments that include at least one school of the 28 covered on this page.

[-Top Players-] Last Updated: November 30th, 1998 The top players in the Area are based on all-around skill. A player might posses great offensive ability, but lack on the defensive side of the ball. That counts against him heavily. This section includes Matt's All-South Hampton Roads First/Second/Third Team's.
