How Do You Get To This Tournament?  The 8 teams who participate in the Virginia High School State Tournament are the finalist of the 4 regions in Virginia: Northwestern, Eastern, Central, and Northern.  The winner of the Northwestern Region plays the runner-up of the Eastern Region, the winner of the Eastern Region plays the runner-up of the Northwestern Region, the winner of the Central Region plays the runner-up of the Northern Region, and the winner of the Northern Region plays the runner-up of the Central Region.  So they are not set up in a #1 to #8 seed bracket.
