On February 4 of the year 1999, at a little place called Koo's, MSBR played a show.  It was Five minutes from P-Sticks house.  He played a show with a few others.  The first group that performed were two Japanese guys.  One, the more vocal of the group was a little japanese guy who wore a Doraemon scully  and a Deranged  T-shirt.   There is a better photo of him on MSBR home page.  His name was YOK.  In front of him, was a little lunch pail sized box of wires and effects.  He would pinch the tip of a guitar cable and turn and twiddle knobs on effects pedals and a little mixer.  Causing noisy feedback and other harsh and brutal metallic sounds wailed out.  Hiding in the other room was ROBOCHANMAN.  he was making noise too.  He stayed hidden in the other room forcing all to go into the room if they wanted to see what he was doing.  YOK and ROBOCHANMAN combined forces in the other room  screaming and making ferocious noises.  It was very good.  MSBR did a noise duet with K2.  It was neat.  They stood side by side, each with a little table in front of them covered with heaps of cables and effects.  K2 had a little mixer on his table.  MSBR had an 808.  K2 would beat on a light fixture with a metal rod.  He also did the same to a garage door spring.  Both were miked through multiple effect pedals.  MSBR messed around with the 808.  It was heavily distorted.  K2 would yell and scream all sorts of things in Japanese.  MSBR just grinned.  K2 fell over, he must have tripped when he got tangled over all his cables.  MSBR just laughed at his fallen companion.    The performance was very noisy.  But P-Sticks enjoyed himself.  These two guys just ran rampant on things like bad rubber suit wearing monsters from Tokyo Bay.  P-Sticks quickly bought the two record one cd deal of MSBR from MSBR for 20 dollars.  P-Sticks quickly dubbed all three on tape the next day.  Babyland played briefly.  Their D-50 wasn't working properly so they cut it short.
