Saber Marionette J is a Tenchi style show, but with a VERY interesting twist. The story takes place on Terra II, with an ALL MALE SOCIETY (ouch...). The only existing things that look female are androids reffered to as "marionettes". This is the story of Otaru Mamiya, a commoner who doesn't make much, and works hard to get it. One day, he is exploring the Japoness History Museum, and awakens a marionette who identifies herself as Lime. But this marionette is very different from the others, she has EMOTIONS! And with two other marionettes coming this way, things are gonna get more interesting for Otaru. While this series may have "Tenchi" written ALL OVER IT, it does have a much better plot, and I also prefer the Japanese voices (All bow to Hayashibara-sama!). |
