Rezo the Red Priest is a very interesting villian. In the beginning of the series, he is trying to retrieve the legendary Philosophar Stone, which is an amulet like object that greatly increases one's magically ability (by 100 times if I recall...). Zelgadis explains to Lina that he is searching for this stone because he is born without sight, and during his many travels years ago, although he was able to cure other people's blindness, for some reason, he could never cure his own. It later turns out that this is true, but the method of his regaining his sight might not please the others... |
