Seargant Cryburn and Addresson are the leaders of the Marines (which happens to make up most of the crew). They are the one who were responsible for the removals of the other captains of the past (by means of explosives). When that can't at first get rid of Tylor and Yamamoto, they try to raise a mutiny against the Captain (which Tylor doesn't even seem to understand. They are also the main flatterers of the nurse Harumi. They do eventually grow to like the Captain...
