Recca Hanabishi, the main character of the shounen anime show Flame
of Recca, made it into the bishounen shrine not just because he looks good
(though there's certainly no denying that he does look good)--I like him
because of his devotion, both to his dream of becoming a ninja and to the
girl he sees as his "Hime" (princess). One thing I noticed--why doesn't
she heal his face so he doesn't wear that bandaid all the time? Of course,
it's so cute...
I like this show; Flame of Recca is funny and silly sometimes, and I like the way the characters interact. It's action, but it's not boring or stupid. The battles are interesting. I also like the use of the several different elemental weapons. It's a good action/adventure show. Of course, what else would you expect fansub group Shinsen Gumi to subtitle, after they finished Rurouni Kenshin? |
