Villians of SailormoonR

The initial SailormoonR villains are Cooan, Beruche, Calaveras, and Petz, known to the NA'ers as Catzy, Birdy, Avery, and Prizma. They are named after the minerals kermesite (in Japanese, it's called "cooan"), berthierite, calaverite, and petzite. These four sisters are killed in the manga, but healed in the anime. Either way, their evil is defeated in that order. Their powers and colors seem to correspond each to an Inner Senshi. For instance, Cooan wears pink, has fiery powers, and fights Sailor Mars. Beruche's powers center around ice, her color is blue, and she always seems to end up in combat against Sailor Mercury. Karaberas has a whip, reminiscent of Venus' chain, favors yellows and oranges, and always fights Sailor Venus. Petz has black lightning, wears dark green and black, and battles against Sailor Jupiter.

They are under the command and influence of Rubeus, who is himself merely a pawn in the hands of the Black Moon family. Esmeraude is the green-haired woman with the perpetually annoying laugh. Sapphir is the calm, blue-haired man who is destroyed by the Wiseman. Prince Demaund is in love with Neo-Queen Serenity, and turns Chibi-Usa into Black Lady. The Wiseman, who is controlling Prince Demaund without his knowing it, is really the Demon planet.
