Yes, that's Right, The DANfan does have a life Beyond Street Fighter, and that life happens to Deal with Metal Gear Solid (Which, in My Oppinion, is the Best Damn Action Game ever Made!!!!) and here's one of the Characters in that Game, Hal "Otacon" Emmerich.

Ok, how can I start with this guy.... Hmm... lets talk about the Basics, Hal's Grandfather was involved in the Horrible "Manhattan Project", the Nuclear Test that Decimated and Killed Thousands in New York in the 1930's and His Father was Born on the Terrible Date of August 6, 1945, the Day The American Forces Dropped the Bomb on Hiroshima Japan, Eventually Ending World War II but at the Price of Thousands of lives. Hal never Attended School and Got his Training by a Internet Correspondece Course (I didn't know you could do THAT!!!!) and Eventually becoming a Boy Genius. While in College, Hal Figured out how to Prevent the Y2K Problem in all Supercomputers (Although he wasn't Credited for the Accomplishment.) After Getting Fired from DARPA (The Nuclear Arms Defense Company that He Worked For) Hal Ended up Working for Armstech, A Nuclear Weapons Desposal Facility, Where he Created Some Nifty Hardware. He Created the "Steath" Technology which allows anyone to Pass through defenses Invisible (If you play the Game, It seems almost Reminesent of the Old "Predator" Movies) And Of Course, he Created a Prototype Metal Gear, Metal Gear Rex. Hal Created Rex from his Love for Japanese Anime containing Robots (Hmm.... Is he a Big Evangelion Fan???) And Orignally, Rex was supposed to be a last resort to Nuclear Weapons Disposal, Instead, it became Worse. Rex was Equipped with all the latest Technology: Missle Launchers, Lazer Guns, and a Pretty Nifty idea utilizing Rail Guns (If you've never seen a Rail Gun, watch the Movie "Eraser"). The Rail Gun was Utilized to Launch the Warhead in Speeds so High, that it Couldn't be Traced, making the Warhead almost Like a Steath Weapon of Mass Destruction. Hal Helps Snake after Snake Saved him from Ninja (I won't go into Details about Ninja, you'll have to Figure that out for yourself) And Was Given a Codec Signal just in case he "Expired" (Snake was Scared that Hal Would Die, as other People He Tried to Save Died Unexpectedly.) He also had a Big Crush on One of the Terrorists, The Crafty Markswoman Sniper Wolf. Although Snake Fought Sniper once and won, Hal Pleaded for Snake to not kill her, unfortunatly, His Wishes were not successful, as Hal Watched Sniper Die in front of his eyes. Depending on how you beat the Game, Hal Ether Stayed behind in the Armstech Building, Saying Goodbye to Snake Hopeing to Die in a Airstrike that Never Happened (I belive he got Saved) or he Escaped with Snake from the Armstech Building and Gives Snake one of his "Steath" Devices. Overall, I think Hal is what Gave "Metal Gear Solid" So Much of it's Personallity and I hope he Comes back for the Sequel!!!!
