Mei's Escaflowne Manga Translations

from Asuka DX

These manga translations are by Mei. To decrease the chances of getting the manga translations screwed up by my mistakes and typos in the process of turning it into an html document, I just cut and pasted the translations from Mei's e-mail and turned it into a text file.

Of course (insert standard disclaimers here) Escaflowne is copyrighted (etc) by Asuka DX, Sunrise, Bandai, etc. Mei isn't making any money out of this and neither am I. No lawsuits, please!

The first part of the translations...

Well, that's all we have for now. If you want more Escaflowne manga translations, ask Mei about it!

Also, be sure to check out Van's translations of the Escaflowne (shonen) manga by Kadokawa.

"Granted, I'm no expert on translating Japanese, but I think I did a fairly good job.... There are 8 volumes of this series [I think] and I have 1-4 already, so I ought to eventually beable to translate the entire series, if anyone is interested. While the art of this series isn't as close to the anime as the Asuka version is, I think the storyline is a lot closer to the anime than the Asuka version is. I spent a long time typing this, so I hope you all enjoy it. It's a good read, even if you don't have the manga to compare it too. Tell me what you think.
