Here I have made a page for the other characters of Saber Marionette J. Not that they don't deserve pages of their own, but I may not be inspired to build pages explaining the whole details of their lives in the SMJ world....
MITSURUGI HANAGATE
He calls himself Otaru's best friend. In many ways he could be, but the fact that Hanagate wants to be Otaru's... ahem, boyfriend makes it a tough one to call. He's often the comic relief of the show. He gets pounded at least once an episode, but if anything happens to him Otaru and the others are there for him. You can't really blame Hanagate for wanting Otaru either because they do live on a planet of all men. There are marionettes, but it seems that it is not welcome to be a marionette lover. I like him as a character - it's a blast to watch him try for Otaru's affections; kinda gross at times, but funny. He has a younger brother - who can be a bit annoying, but is helpful to the story.
TAMASABUROU and BAIKOU
The two Palace Guards will be next up, they are totally cool. Even though they do not have Maiden circuits, they have a high level of social and fighting abilities. Like I said they interact, but they do not laugh or cry - they hold a great deal of knowledge and can be social. They are pretty much all business though and don't really go and make social visits or anything. Most Marionettes are simply animated dolls, it was never really explained in the show, but it appeared that there were different levels of marionette - simple to complex. For the most part these two are the only ones who have a high enough level of ability to "interact" and not just give simple replies.
TOKUGAWA IEYASU
He is the 15th Shogun of Japoness, he is pretty cool. Lime calls him grandpa and they get along pretty well. The two of them become really close even. He believes in taking things slow and sure; never making rushed decisions. He watches Otaru and the marionettes closely and often calls for their aid in the ongoing struggle with Gartlant.
OBIICHI KENOBI
He is Otaru's Master, he teaches him the martial arts. He is a quiet and calm man... and took Otaru in as a pupil when he was young - having been in an apparent bad situation and getting into fights. He helps him to become intelligent as well as strong. There is more to be said about him, but too much is not a good thing here.
There are many other good characters, but they only have simple rolls and may just show up here in the future....
