ANGEL PROFILES   Lilith Not much is ever known about Lilith, she is the first angel . The lance of Longilus is stuck in her chest, that is to prevent his legs from regenerating, infact LCL is Lilith's blood, she was just hanging there for all those years, bleeding . As a last resort, the lance is used to kill another angel that was orbiting the atmosphere . It is also somewhat believed that she is the "mother" of creation .
 
 

 

Adam Nothing is ever told about Adam, so I know very little, but Adam was said to be a being of pure light and the carrier of The Lance of Longilus . Adam, along with his Lance, were recovered from Antarctica during the second impact . The second impact was caused by Adam, he blew himself up . When the remains of Adam were delivered to Gendou Ikari, he had only managed to regenerate himself far enought to only have a very small bone structure, not different from the early stages of Human birth, a fetus .
 

 

Sachiel Sachiel is a very kewl angel, and in actual fact, Shinji Ikari's first battle . Its AT field proving resistant to all conventional attack, Shinji was put into battle, Shinji had no idea how to pilot the Evangelion, and was getting his Ass totally whipped, only for the Evangelion to activate itself without power for the second time, and save the day! The Angel itself is the most human like one in the entire series, its powers were limited only by the fact that it carried no weapons .
  Shamshel Shamshel was a very powerful angel, it had long whip like tentacles for arms, that could stab through any metal whatsoever with incredible speed . Its S2organ was revealed very clearly and when Shinji stabbed it with his progressive knife, it was the first and only angel to be captured intact and ready for study .
  Ramiel Ramiel had many features about it, its weapon was a long range laser gun, and it destroyed every target that got within about a mile or any target that attacked it, so the Evangelions could not get close to it . It also had a very large drill, which began to drill into the Geo Fronts 22 layers of Titanium armor . Ramiel was destroyed by Shinji with a Plasma Cannon that used the power of the entire continent of Japan !
  Gagheil Gagheil was the only angel able to swim, it destroyed half of the Naval forces of Tokyo-3 by .... eating them . Misato developed a plan to sink two battleships and fire their cannons into its mouth when it tried to eat them . The Evangelions were used to open its mouth wide enough, this also proved to be Asuka Soryu Langley's first battle .
  Israfel Israfel was the only angel able to split itself into two angels after Asuka cut it clear in half with a spear . This the very first Synchronized attack by two Evangelions, EVA's 01 and 02 . They had to knock the two angels back together into one angel, then destroy BOTH of is S2organs at the same time .
  Sandalphon Sandalphon began as a egg, inside a volcano, when Asuka tried to capture it in an electromagnetic cage, it hatched and broke free, she ended up having to shove one of her 5 coolant tanks into its mouth to cool it down, then stab it with a progressive knife . It was a scary angel, but not a strong one .
 
  Matarael Matarael was not a strong angel in itself, but attacked Tokyo-3 during a complete power blackout, giving it the advantage . The 3 EVA's were powered up with an internal combustion engine and this battle proved to be the first Synchronized attack using all three Evangelions . Matarael could seep an acid liquid out of its eyes, burning the absolute CRAP out of Asuka . But this battle is my second favorite, so you can watch it for yourself .
 
  Sahaquiel Sahaquiel was merely a bomb, it began its decent from space, and if it hit the ground, it would destroy the world with the incredible force of the explosion, but fortunately, the three Evangelions caught the angel before it hit the ground and plunged their progressive knives into its three eyes .
 
  Ireul Iruel was, corrosion . Just rust, but it could alter its genetic structure to fight the cures that NERV was instituting, it ended up changing its form to computer circuits and almost completely taking control of the three Magi super computers and all the Evangelions aswell . The Evangelions had no part in destroying this angel, Ritsuko Akagi altered the Magi computers to fight it .
 
  Leliel Leliel was a very strong angel, the sphere part (picture) of it could move with lightning speed so that none of the weapons could be used against it . Shinji became overconfident and stepped into its shadow, this shadow was infact a hole, and Shinji along with his EVA were sucked into the hole, and transported into the sphere . NERV intended to concentrate all of there M2 nuclear mines into an explosion around the angel, but in the nick of time, Shinji's Evangelion activated itself without power for the third time and cut the angel into pieces .
 
 
  Bardiel Bardiel is a virus, that took over Evangelion unit-03, when the pilot - Touji Suzahara was inside it, Touji is Shinji's best friend, and when this Evangelion, that is now an angel, attacked Shinji, he refused to fight back knowing that his friend Touji was inside it . Eventually, commander Ikari initiated the dummy plug inside Shinji's EVA . So the dummy plug fought back for Shinji and started tearing Unit-03 apart, Touji lost a leg and an arm in this attack, proving very traumatic for Shinji .
 
  Zeruel Ahhh Zeruel, my favorite angel . It has incredibly long, stringy arms which can cut through anything at all . Now we all know that Asuka hates to be defeated, so this was the most traumatic experience of her life, her EVA's arms were sliced off first of all, then its head, proving immense pain for her, then Rei was badly damaged trying to destroy it with an M2 mine . So Shinji, in a fit of rage, was pulling Zeruel's face off when he ran out of power . The EVA activated by itself for the fourth time, and ATE the angel, IT ATE THE ANGEL . It was truly disgusting, but a really kewl battle .
 
  Arael Arael, the psychic angel . It is just concentrated light in a small area of space orbiting the Earths atmosphere . It attacked Rei and Asuka's mind, giving them both severe mental damage, and it was eventually killed using The Lance of Longelus .
 
  Armisael Armisael was another psychic angel but this time, infected the Evangelions and their pilots by penetrating their entry plugs . When it infected Rei, it sent her a message, telling her that she was not having any fun by not interacting with anybody, anyway she decided that she did not want to live, and she saved Shinji's life in sacrificing herself to destroy the angel .
 
  Tabris aka. Kaworu Nagisa, he is the 17th and most powerful angel, he started off by becoming Shinji Ikari's best friend, and then he took over EVA unit-02 and began to descend into terminal dogma . Tabris has his own AT field and in some way was related to Rei Ayanami . He found Lilith and talked to it, then he asked Shinji to crush him, because he did no longer want to destroy the world . Tabris did no physical damage whatsoever, but he did incredible mental damage to Shinji, as Tabris was his best friend .
