The Vision of Escaflowne Episode Summary 15-16

Van is haunted by the ghosts of the Dragon Slayers and is near the edge of death and it is Hitomi who rushes to his aid. Dilandau falls prey to a mysterious sickness after the death of his entire troop. Hence, the job of hunting down Escaflowne is taken over by two others of Folken's minions, the "gold and silver twins", both cat-girls like Merle. However, Van is still frightened and hesitant after the horrors he's witnessed. Will he be able to regain the courage to face the new opponents?

Dryden, Millerna's fiance, uses his scholarly knowledge to figure out the location of "the land of Atlantis". Thus, Van and gang head for the "illusionary valley" attempting to discover the mystery to the "power of Altantis". Also, we are about to find out the horrible past of Allen. What can bother the seemingly perfect knight of Heaven, Allen Szechzar? Lastly, what of Hitomi's family in the world she abandoned? All will be revealed in this stunning episode.
