Tskuino Usagi lay, almost motionless, in the arms of Tuxedo Kamen.
"We're too late", mumured Sailor Uranus, her eyes clouded with grief. "We've failed Neo-Queen Serenity, and we've failed the future of Crystal Tokyo." Her voice cracked, as she watched the rosy color of Usagi drain away, softly. As it replaced with a grayish-blue tint, the Sailor Senshi could no longer hold it in.
Sailor Neptune weeped softly on the shoulder of Uranus, while Sailor Jupiter, Mercury, and Venus watched their friend die, their eyes overflowing with tears. Sailor Pluto and Saturn cried silently, covering the face of Sailor Chibi-Moon. Far in a corner, Sailor Mars stood, motionless, the impact of Usagi's condition hurting her so much, she couldn't find a tear in her eye. And lastly, Tuxedo Kamen sat in a trance, his heart breaking so much, the others heard it echo in their ears.
"She....She's gone", Tuxedo Kamen said, so quietly, the girls could barely hear him. He reached for the lifeless hands of his Usagi, and gripped them tightly. Sailor Chibi- Moon moved Pluto's hands from her face with a forceful yank, and ran over to her parents, crying so hard, she could barely see. "Mama-chan!" she called, hoarsely.
The battle in the earlier part of the evening, had destroyed the future of Crystal Tokyo. The Negamoon Family had won, and killed Eternal Sailor Moon in the process. There was not even a tiny speck of light, of hope in the whole city. Evil had prevailed.
However, a small silver light turned everyone's attention to the sky, above the hill they were all standing on. A woman with silver hair, dressed in another Sailor uniform, appeared next to Tuxedo Kamen. The beauty of her radiated the whole area, with the illumination of a diamond, staff-like weapon in her left hand.
The Sailor Senshi prepared to attack, and Tuxedo Kamen held his family close to him. But the young woman held up her right hand.
"I can heal her", the woman said, softly. The Senshi were puzzled by this.
"It's a trap", hissed Sailor Jupiter. "She's probably another Negamoon Sister!"
But the expression of recognition lit up Sailor Neptune's face. "No! She's not evil! She's one of us, Jupiter! Look at the sign on her forehead!"
"I feel a very strong power comming from her", Sailor Mars said. "And it's not evil, guys." The Senshi looked at one another, then at the forehead of the young woman. There was a glowing pink cherry blossom on her head.
"I am Sailor Cherry Blossom", the girl announced. "I am the last of the Sailor Senshi, and I've come to heal Eternal Sailor Moon."
"You're not going anywhere, near Usagi!", Sailor Venus cried. But Tuxedo Kamen put a restraining hand on Venus.
"Let her", Tuxedo Kamen said, calmly. His tears had dried, and a look of the same recognition as Neptune had, washed over his face.
Without any more hesitations, the woman put her glowing hands on Usagi's forehead, closed her eyes, and waited. Anticipation filled the air, as the glowing power traveled all over Usagi's lifeless body. And little by little, life seeped into her.
When the golden crescent moon shined on her forehead, a miraculous thing happened. Another golden crescent moon shined on Sailor Cherry Blossom's head, overtop of the pink marking.
The Sailor Senshi stared in awe, at this chain of events. And finally, Usagi rose from Tuxedo Kamen's arms and opened her eyes. The two golden moons shined, together on the foreheads of the two young women.
"Sakura!" Usagi ran to the woman, and hugged her. "I thought you'd be banished long ago! You and I have found each other, and I could never be happier!"
Sakura smiled, with tears in her eyes. She looked down at Sailor Chibi-Moon, who was hugging her mother and father. "Hello, Little Rabbit", she told her.
Chibi-Usa curtsied, politely. "Hello, your majesty."
Sakura smirked. "Enough of that 'majesty' stuff, just call me Auntie Sakura. You know your cousin, Sakito has been waiting for you to come home. She misses you. We all do."
The Senshi finally let the whole thing sink in.
"Auntie?", Sailor Mercury questioned. "That would have to mean Sakura is..."
"Sailors, this is my sister from the Moon Kingdom, Princess Sakura", Usagi said. A look of surprise crossed her face. "Your, Majesty?"
"Yes, Usagi. I am Neo-Queen Cherry Blossom, ruler of the Star Kingdom. And I've come to warn you, that a grave evil is upon all of you, this very day."
