             An Encounter with Destiny
                          Sailor Clover Fanfic Episode #1

* Note* I have kept the powers of the Sailor Scouts from Sailor Moon
R, since it is the most I have seen. Let's just say this all happened
between Sailor Moon R and Sailor Moon S.

Jennifer stepped off the plane in Dublin. What an amazing place!
She had seen Ireland from the airplane and was mystified. Sure, she
knew that Ireland would be beautiful, but she just never imagined how
beautiful.
Jennifer was an exchange student from the United States on her way to
Tokyo. She had a 36-hour layover in Dublin, which excited her. She
had always wanted to see Dublin, being Irish.
Jennifer finger-combed through her red hair. Oay, it wasn't really
red. it was actually this odd (Jennifer would probably prefer to say
icky) shade of dark blonde. Some might call it dirty blonde.
Ewwwwww, thought Jennifer. She hated that term. So, she colored her
hair a vibrant shade of red.
It was quite chilly in Dublin, being only the end of January. She
still couldn't believe she was getting to spend the last semester of
her senior year in Tokyo. It was all paid for by an anonymous
sponsor. It was almost as if it were her destiny awaited her in
Tokyo...
Nah! Just good luck, she thought to herself. And since when does
Jen ever get good luck?!?!?! Well, sometimes...okay, not often, but
there is always an exception to the rule...
Jen shook the thoughts out of her head. she didn't want to strain
her brain thinking about it. She was going to enjoy her layover. She
wrote down her gate #, exited the airport, and caught a cab into town.
"'Ello there, lassie! What brings you to our lovely city?" said the
friendly cabbie.
"Oh, a layover," said Jen. I have 36 hours in dublin, and then I
catch a plane to Tokyo, Japan."
"Really?" asked the cabbie, interested. "Why do you want to go there?"
"Well, I'm going to be an exchange student there for the last
semester of my senior year. I'm really excited. And lucky.
Everything was paid for, even my apartment," she explained.
"Ah, so you're not stayin' with a fam'ly, then, lassie?"
"No, I found that kind of odd. But hey, I'm not complaining!" Jen
exclaimed.
"Aye. Well, you picked they right cabbie, lass."
The remark confused Jen. How was this the "right" cabbie? "Why's
that?" she asked.
"You'll see, lass," said the cabbie mysteriously.
Jen slumped in the back of the seat. Something all of a sudden
felt very strange to her. He was probably just being friendly. Why
am I making a issue?
It wasn't just the cabbie that was making her uneasy. Just something
about the whole experience felt odd. The sponser to go to to Tokyo,
the remarks the cabbie made, and just a feeling in the pit of her
stomach that told her something was up. Although, not necesarily
something bad...
	Suddenly, the cabbie pulled over.
"Why are we stopping?" asked Jen, now even more confused.
"Well, lass, this is your stop. See that pup over there? Well, 'e's
been waitin' for you."
"Oh?" asked Jen. This was becoming weirder and weirder. "Well,
okay. How much do I owe you?" Jen began to fish in her pockets.
"Owe me? Nothin'! It's on the 'ouse! Oh, I almost forgot to give
you this!" The cabbie handed Jen a gold necklace with an emerald
pendant in the shape of a four-leaf clover.
"This is a real emerald," Jen said, mystified. "I can't possibly
except this!"
"Course you can! It belongs to you! Now, get on, Jennifer! Your
destiny awaits you!"
"But..." began Jen, but the cabbie had already driven off. How did
you know my name? She sighed and shook her head, and went over to the
dog. It was a mutt, about the size of a springer spaniel, with a
black and grey coat, brown and white paws, a white belly, and a very
scruffy looking face. He panted and wagged his tail.
"Well, come on," said Jen. "I suppose you're coming with me to Tokyo.

Meanwhile...

"Ahhhhh! We finally have an established enough force to begin my
Great Plan!" cackled an evil sounding voice. The voice came from a
young woman, with fiery red hair and green, wicked looking eyes, which
had an eerie glow to the. She was tall and slender, and actually
quite beautiful.
"Princess Daria, are you sure it is time?" asked a man, in what
looked like a dark green soldiers' uniform. He had dark hair and eyes.
"Of course it is time, Davius! The timing couldn't be better! We
will avenge my mother, Queen Beryl, and we will come back strong! The
Neo-Negaverse!"
Evil cackles echoed through the dark cavern.

Jen opened the door to her new apartment. To her amazement, it was
beautifully furnished. The dog ran inside and jumped on the couch.
Jen closed the door.
"Okay! Finally! We can get down to business!" said a strange voice.
	"Who said that?" asked Jen.
"Me, of course!" Jen looked down. The dog was talking! "I am Max,
your guardian, and you are Sailor Clover."
"Sailor what?! This is crazy! I must be dreaming!"
"No, you aren't. This is your destiny. Now come on, did you really
think coming to Tokyo was a fluke?"
	"Well, actually, no..." began Jen.
"No! Of course not!" exclaimed Max. You are Sailor Clover,
protector of Earth and friend to the Sailor Scouts."
	"Who are they?" asked Jen.
"Ever hear of Sailor Moon?" asked Max.
	"It sounds familiar..."
	"Well, what about Sailor V?"
"Yes. She was that British craze a year or so back!" said jen.
"She's not a craze, she's real! Sailor Venus! There's also Sailor
Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and, of course, Sailor Moon."
exclaimed Max.
"Oh, wow," said an awed Jen.
"Yes, 'oh wow!' You were brought here because there is a new
threat. the Neo-Negaverse is planning to attack, and the Scouts need
your help!"
	Ding Dong!
"Shush, Max, I have a visitor!" said Jen.
She opened the door. There stood a tall, dark haired young man. he
was very handsome, yet strangely, Jen was not at all attracted to him.
"Hi, I'm Darien, your neighbor," said the young man.
	"I'm Jen."
"I heard there was going to be a new tenant. I thought I'd drop by
and welcome you," he said.
"Come on in," said Jen. "I just got here, the place is a bit messy.
This is my dog, Max."
"Hey, Max," said Darien, as he stooped down to pet him. "He's
friendly. What is he?"
	"He's a mutt," said Jen.
Suddenly there was a strange thundering noise outside.
	"What was that?" asked Jen.
"I'm not sure," said Darien nervously. "Um, I have to go. I'll see
ya around, Jen!"
	Darien exited the apartment.
"Jen!" exclaimed Max. "You have to transform! The Neo-Negaverse is
striking. Use your pendant!"
Strangely, Jen already knew this. "Emerald Clover Power!" she shouted.
Suddenly, she was transformed. She wore a hunter gree and burgandy
Sailor-Scout getup and Burgandy ankle boots.
She rushed to the scene. There, the scouts were struggling to fight
off the creature which had come to Tokyo. Even Tuxedo Mask was lying
on the ground.
"Oh, no," muttered Jen. "Clover Spades, Shatter!" she shouted.
Suddenly, thousands of little clovers shot from her hands and disabled
the monster.
"Who is that?" asked Sailor Moon in awe.
"It doesn't matter! It seemes as if she's on our side!" exclaimed
Sailor Mars. "I don't feel any negative energy from her!"
"Use your scepter, Sailor Moon!" shouted Darien.
"Moon Scepter Elimination!" shouted Sailor Moon. The monster was
destroyed.
Well, my job's done, thought Jen, as she skipped off.
"Who was that?" asked Sailor Venus. "And why is she helping us?"

************************************************************************

"I cannot believe it! How could you have failed?" screamed Princess
Daria to Davius.
"I--well--there is a new warrior, and she is very strong, princess,"
stammered Davius.
"Well, then, she'll have to be eliminated then, won't she?" said
Daria with an evil smirk.

************************************************************************

"Wow, what a rush! I can't believe I was able to do all that! I was
meant for this!" exclaimed Jen.
"That's what I've been trying to tell you!" said Max.
	Ding Dong!
Jen opened the door. "Pizza Delivery! I thought you might be
hungry," he said.
"Sure! Come on in!" said Jen enthusiastically.
There's something very familiar about him, thought Jen.
There's something very familiar about her, thought Darien.

				The End!
