Every anime must have it's cute, squishy thing. Rayearth has Mokona, Sailor Moon has Luna, Evangelion has Pen Pen, Pokemon has Pikachu, Utena has Chu Chu, and Card Captor Sakura has the ever lovable, ever squishable, oh-so-cool Cerberus, better known as Kero-chan. I don't have much Kero-chan stuff, because it's VERY hard to find, but everything I do have is here!

Believe it or not, that lovely, cute little flying bear is really the guardian beast of the book of Clow. His job was to watch the Clow Cards and make sure they wouldn't be released to wreak havoc on the world- unfortunately, Kero-chan wasn't working too hard. He slept for 30 years until Sakura broke the seal on the book of Clow, and woke him up only to find that the Clow Cards were gone. Kero needs the fire and earth cards to regain his normal, beast form, and Sakura has to find them so he won't remain a winged teddy bear for the rest of his life. ^.^ Kero-chan himself is quite egotistical. He often refers to his coolness, how he looks cool, acts cool, and his true, beast form is SO cool no one would be able to believe it. People seem to have trouble believing Kero-chan really is the guardian beast... flying teddy bears, there we go! Kero really is cool as Cerberus, though. He's very spiffy looking. ^.^ He speaks with an Osaka dialect in the Japanese show (if they turn that into a western accent for the U.S. I'm going to GAG), and has an INCREDIBLY cute voice. Kero-chan is definitely one of the best parts of CCS.

I don't have many right now... I'll have to go ransack Amanda's computer again to get more. ^.^

Currently 80 dollars and out of stock at The House of Anime, this is the CUTEST thing I've ever seen! I want this and a playstation for Christmas. ^.^ I'm not quite sure how it works, but I HAVE seen it in real life. (There were these two incredibly kawaii girls dressed up as Sakura and Tomoyo for the masquerade at Anime Expo, and they had a talking Kero-chan... I was so jealous!) It's the perfect size to carry around in a backpack, display on a shelf, and is that not the absolute kawaii-est thing you've EVER seen?? They also have Sakura UFO dolls at House of Anime, and posters and resin figures and, get this, glasses... the kind you drink orange juice out of. ^.^ Go buy!
