1973 Begged his father for drinking sake
1975 Went to kindergarten. Because he didn't want to go, he seat on the road everyday morning, this made his mother in trouble.
1976 Bought a model called "Majingaa-Z" (I only know its Chinese name), he treated it as his treasure.
1977 Because his mother had to work, she couldn't take him afterschool anymore. His relationship to teachers became good.
1978 The first time he went out only with his little sister. They went to buy sugar.
1979 He went to primary school. Because his body was too little, it's tough for him to carry the schoolbag.
1980 He added some "paper clay" on a coka-cola bottle to made an art work called "dinosaur's dish" (?). And by this he was awarded in the "Hokkaido primary and secondary schools 3-D art work competition" presented by "Newspaper Association". His first milk teeth fell off.
1981 Changed to another primary school
1982 Because he could ran fast, he was chosen as an athlete. Then he became active in athletic. His father wanted him to learn Jyuudou, but he refused because it's painful.
1983 Fighting with his friends and broke his arm.
1984 Went to Aomori for school traveling. He felt sick(dizzy) on the bus. Therefore after buying souvenir, he slept at once in the whole journey.
1985 Went into secondary school. He entered Basketball team. But he quit at once after half year.
1986 Formed a band called "Nekusutobiito". He took part in guitar. The first live was in "Boowy"
1987 Became famous among young girls in school.
1988 Went into high school.
1989 Enter a band called "Se-ra-ui" as a guitarist. Tasted sake for the first time.
1990 The other member of Glay graduated from high school and went to Tokyo. He entered a band called "pierrot" as a bassist. He went to live regularly since that time. In the most beginning live, which was called "High collar concert" presented by?Sutajio-Saundobaba, Tsukasa the leader asked about his name, he answered "Jiro" immediately. Since then, he was called Jiro. In summer, Glay has a joined concert with Pierrot in Hakodate. Takuro asked him to go to Tokyo. So he designed to go.
3-1991 Graduated from high school. He wrote such thing in the graduate book "Strive to go to Tokyo for 10 days. You all come and see. After that, London......(I can't translate that part...)"
After he went to Tokyo, he was employed by a publishing company and lived in its dormitory. "Pierrot" was dismissed after half year. Although formed a new band with friends, seldom have activities.
10-1991 Glay's first demo was out.
1992 The work load of that company was too heavy, therefore he resigned. He started to find members everywhere. One day he went to see Glay practiced. 3 days later, Takuro asked him to enter Glay, because he had no job, he started to practice with Glay.
1993 There was a contract between Glay and Extasy records. Before the contract, they had once said that "this company is not good" and wanted to give up. In Dec they started to produce their Indies album.
2-1994 They started their first Indies live. Since then people started to notice Indies. They started their first recording. ........(I don't know that part!!!) all the members felt uncomfortable during recording.
5-1994 Their first debut single "Rain" and their Indies albums "Kaitotaiyamondo" released at the same time. "Rain" went to 25 on the chart.
6-1994 The second single "MANATSU NO TOBIRA" released. It was out of chart. All the members got "cold".
7-1994 Went to On Air West for the debut live "Happy Swing". Since this was the first time for performing in such large place, members were much encouraged.
9-1994 The first whole Japan tour "Kaitodaiyamondo Tour" started. They went for 13 different places.
11-1994 The third single "Kanojyo no 'Modern...'" released. Recording by Masahide Sakuma. But it didn't have a good sell, therefore not encouraged much. "The Speed Pop Live '94" started.
1-1995 The fourth single "Freeze my love"
3-1995 The first album "Speed Pop" released. Others people commented that "This is not rock". They were very angry. They started our next goal at once.
4-1995 "Speed Pop Gig '95" started. D.I.E. joined in as keyboard. Nagai joined in as drum.
5-1995 The fifth single "ZUTTO FUTARI DE..." released. It's still popular among fans nowadays. "Video Glay" released at the same time. "Kanojyo no 'Modern..." in the tape was Jiro's idea.
7-1995 His house was being robbed during the recording of Yes! Summerday.
8-1995 The sixth single "Yes, Summerdays" released.
9-1995 he cut his finger when he opened a bottle of champagne.
11-1995 The seventh single "IKIDEKU TSUYOSA" released.
1-1996 The eighth single "Glorious" released.
2-1996 The second album "BEATout!" released. It got no.1 on the chart. A lot of confidence is gained. "BEATout! '96" tour started.?He grew up a lot in the band since that time.
5-1996 "Video Glay 2" released. Compared to the last one, he thinks it has great improvement.
6-1996 The book"Forever 1/4" released. He went back to Hakodate, in the park near his grandfather's house where he always had played in and in the place where he went in high school ages for photo taking. They went to Iceland and London for video recording for "Beloved"
8-1996 The ninth single "Beloved" released. Amazingly it had very long sells. "BEATout! reprise" tour started.
9-1996 The first song written by him "Shutter Speed no Teema" showed up at the first time. The book "Midnight Sun" released. While they were taking photo for the book in Iceland, because of?their complicated hairstyle and long transportation, they nearly couldn't sleep. The "blue" expression is really how they looked when they are in "blue"
10-1996 Live in Osaka. Showed up in some unversities parties.
11-1996 The tenth single "A BOY~zutto wasurenai", the third album "beloved" released. However, they didn't get popular by this. He wrote the song of "Shutter Speed no teema" and "Kanariya" in this album.
12-1996 "Glay tour '96~'97 Beloved You" tour started. He had his worst live in Glay in the first day live. Because this was the longest live, he felt very glad. The book "BEATout! Tour Document book Groovy" released.
1-1997 The tape "Mugei no deja vu DOCUMENT od BEATout! Tour" released. His favourite part was when he was holding the bass with his back facing the wall and crushed into the wall. (?)
4-1997 "Caramel Box" started.
5-1997 The eleventh single "Kuchibiru" released. The "crush" part of vocal in the introduction was his idea.
7-1997 24 more showed was added. "Glay Rena Tour '97~ Hit the world~" started. The greatest reward was he found his own image in wearing "Supeetsuu" (I don't know what it is!) clothing.
8-1997 The twelfth single "However" released. People had good comment on this single. It has Long-Mega-Sales, and it was a remarkable song in that year. But they performed "beloved" in the TV show in the end of the year.
9-1997 Best Album "Review~Best of Glay" It had "speed" sells,
10-1997 The regular programme "Love Overtime" in Osaka FM802 started. He started to correct his weakness of speaking too much.
11-1997 They had concert in 8 places in Japan. It involved 27000 working stuff. he got shocked also when he saw it in newspaper.
12-1997 Went to NHK "Red-White" competition for the first time. They performed the song "However". After the performing in TV, he went to snow skating with members and friends.
2-1998 "Video Glay 3" released. Their product started to sell in the form of LD.
3-1998 Because of the release of the TDK Mini Disk XA, they performed in CM for the first time
4-1998 Single "Yuuwaku" and "Soul Love" released in the same time. "Yuuwaku" sold better than "Soul Love". So their position in rock is being recognized, he was happy by that. "Pure Soul Tour '98" started. The idea of 60's was given by him. Some people thought it's good but some thought it's bad.
5-1998 "Glay Song Book~soundtrack of Ryakudatsu Ai" released.
7-1998 The forth album "Pure Soul" released. He written the song "Biri Biri Crush Man" in the album.
8-1998 The video of "Pure Soul tour '98" released. "Pure Soul in STADIUM SUMMER of '98" started. Amazingly it didn't rain that day, and they got great success.
10-1998 The regular programme got independent, therefore it's changed to "Buggy Crush Night".
11-1998 The fifteenth single "Be with You" released. Combining the 3 songs together, he took part in writing song, lyrics and vocal in "Strawberry Shakes".
12-1998 The Video "SUMMER of '98 Pure Soul in STADIUM" released. He was so touch that he cried in his home. 2nd time went to "Red-White competition" with Yuuwaku.
1-1999 Komori as new keyboard player.
2-1999 "Glay Dome Tour pure soul 1999" started. Setting by him. Released of Caramel Books. The sixteenth single "Winter, again" released.
3-1999 Release of "Glay complete works". First is the PSX version, then is DVD and CD-Rom version.
4-1999 N.Y.C. shuffle was released.
5-1999 The seventeenth single "survival" is released.
6-1999 The book of "Life Record in America is released."
7-1999 "Glay EXPO 99' Survival" concert took place. 200000 people went and it was the largest concert in Japan. Glay Jumbo from JAL was in service.
8-1999 The eighteenth single "Kokodewa nai, Dokokae" released.
12-1999 Concert with Luna Sea in Tokyo dome. Glay live in Messe "Come together". "Red-White" competition with song survival. Glay unplugged concert.
1-2000 Jiro win the "most wanted Boyfriend". The nineteenth single "Happiness" released.
4-2000 "Glay video 4" released. Have tape and DVD version. Started to order in Feb
5-2000 "Glay Arena Tour 2000 'Heavy Gauge'" started. First place was in Koobe Waarudo memorial Hall.
6-2000 Lasting of the "Heave Gauge" tour. In Osaka.
7-2000 Video"GLAY EXPO'99 SURVIVAL LIVE IN MAKUHARI" release "Light Gauge" added.
