Glay Dictionary - Jiro Obsession Edition

Glay unplugged in 13/12/1999

It was held on 13/12/1999 in “ú–{?“¹ŠÙ. It was only for Happy Swing fan club members(I don't quite remember =P). The most important highlight of this concert was that it was produced by Jiro!! It's quite different from their big tour: 1. they all seat down instead of standing
2. most of the songs(especially the fast songs) were newly arranged
3. Hisashi, Teru, Takuro use wooden guitar instead of electric guitar (except Hisashi in "happiness") Of course I couldn't go to see! But it was shown in "Sky perfect TV" ...but I don't have Sky perfect TV also =P

Encore: Shutter Speed no teema
Let's talk about Jiro solo! It's really great: he was the first to go on stage. He picked up a wooden guitar, played some chord sang them (to "open" he voice?) He said "Konbanwa" and all the ppl screamed =) Then he began to sing. He played the guitar and sang with it. Only him and his guitar on stage - it was soooo cool!!! =)Sometime I think it's pity for him cannot be a vocal =) This song only last about 2 mins. After it, other members entered.
I think Shutter speed no teema and Fried Chicken and Beer were the best songs of all. They were all arranged in a new way. They are so fresh! There was a song with no vocal (so I dunno the name) - it's a pure guitar song. Hisashi played extremely good with his 7-string guitar. This song was a kind of Blue, and Jiro screamed like a cowboy in the middle of song =) so cute & funny!
After this concert, I learn that Glay is not only a band with "images", but with real music =) They are still so attractive when they just seat down and sang, or I will say they are more attractive in this way! They are real music band! I appreciated most with their way of arranging their music - is it all arrange by Jiro? If yes, Jiro is really the greatest musician in the world =)
