Official Online Anime Alliance Member - Created by Keroppi774@aol.com     The Official Online Anime Alliance Rules

The rules were not created to be harsh or unfair and are designed to help you, your lists, and promote decency and fairness online.

1. No Hentai (pornography, animated or otherwise), profanity (offensive language), or any virus of any kind (including password stealers).

2. No Chain Letters (for your own safety).

3. Please include the OAA logo and link in your mailings.

4. Please respect other mailing list formats by not copying them, and give credit to files taken from other mailing lists and/or the creator of the file if possible.

5. All OAA mailing lists must include a note saying the following or something similar in their mailings: "This is not unsolicited email and you are receiving this mailing list because you requested or agreed to be on it. If for some reason you are receiving these mailings in error or no longer wish to receive them, please e-mail <hyperlink e-mail address here> and request to be removed."

This is now required to prevent members from being reported as violating the Terms Of Service and possibly losing their accounts. While I would not expect America Online or other e-mail providers to target those of us who only send to several hundred to a thousand members, or less, it's better to include the simple note and be safe.

For rule 3:

If you mail multiple files in a day, only the first needs to include the OAA logo and link.

Here are two banners that can be used by members for placement in emails:
