Three shadows silhouetted against the setting sun on a planet distant from here.  One being a tall female with long blond hair, the next shadow a female with short, black hair, and last of all a tall male with long red spiked hair.  All three, mere teenagers with great experience in weapons and magic.  The boy being skilled in lightning magic, the first girl in magic of fire and healing, and the final girl being skilled in ice and healing.

 They stood watching the sun set for their last night on this planet.  For tomorrow, none of them wanted to think about tomorrow, but they knew it would arrive.

 Tomorrow, they would board a ship and head to a planet across the galaxy, where they would work a bounty-hunting job.  The planet they would be headed to seemed to have some sort of monster problem and they had been hired to take care of it.

 Turning from the light left from the now hidden sun, they started to build camp.  The girls spoke softly to each other about their plans for the following day, the boy occasionally nodded in reply to their ideas.

 With camp set, they laid down around the fire, for a dreamless sleep.

 Upon awakening, they got up and packed their camp.  After camp was cleared, they walked the rest of the way to the town they had been traveling to the day before.  They got to town as the second sun began to rise, and the town clock had struck twelve.  They headed straight to the transit office and within ten minutes, they sat on a long flight in a space bus to their destiny.

The bus was crowed and reminded the travelers of coach on an airplane. There was enough room to sit, and that was about it.

 While traveling at high-speed, the boy got bored, so while his two companions chatted, he rummaged through his pack and found a cloth he could use to polish his lightning sword, his weapon against the unknown beast.

 Time and space slowly passed by.  Slowly a brown planet came into view, a shock to the trio, as they watched it come closer in the bubble window of the bus.  The once industrialized, high-tech, ecologically aware, civilized planet was now in almost complete rubble.  The only green untouched by whatever had destroyed the planet was in the north, an area that at one time had been a national park.  When in range, the captain of the bus beamed the trio to the surface of the planet, and got out of there as fast as he could.

 They traveled across parched crust of the planet to get to the forest and find shelter.  Upon arriving, they came across the few survivors of the planet.  While one wounded survivor told the story of the problem of the planet from his bed, the boy stared intently at the sword at his side.

 The story of what happened, being this; the planet being fine, until a physical science teacher from the local high school ordered an item off his computer.  That item had a possession seed in it.  The seed took control of the teacher’s desires, to rule the planet and bore kids to death with his lectures, when the teacher somehow broke the seal on it.  The teacher started destroying the planet, with the help of kids who went crazy listening to his lectures.
 The girls stared in horror at the one who told them this story.  Then, as they recovered from the shock, the ground started to shake.

 With the boy in the lead, the trio ran out of the forest to meet their foe.
