"If you can picture this, a world full of humans, animals, and races composed of human-animal crossbreeds. There were castles of grass green emerald and houses of the purest crystals. There was not a single poor person in the land. And my father was in charge of it all. He rules fair and generously, at least that's what my mother had said."
"These two worlds were joined by that tree we had passed through. And there was open access to either one, all the time. But slowly, as the times changed, the two worlds drifted apart. Nanopia was enjoying a simple life, while this planet became greedy and a victim to the green paper called money."
"This planet decided they wanted nothing to do with Nanopia, so they sealed the gate from their side."
"The dark hours were slowly approaching the two planets. One man, who had been from the other world and was trapped in Nanopia when the gate was closed, discovered the moonberries deep in a forest. He found out about their great powers, and that not only could they heal, but they could grant wishes up to some point."
"You must not anyone know you have them. And when you must use them, you must not have any stray thoughts in your head, other then the purpose of using them."
"Err… Are you sure that I should be the one to hold them?" asked the blond-headed fire user.
"Yes. I believe you are the one the legend of my people says will fulfill the prophecy of saving our world," said Glenn. "Now, may I continue with my story?"
"Yes…" said the girl, who was a bit confused now.
"Well, the outlander decided to sell the moonberries and to keep all the money to himself. Our land, having no way of payment for them, started to trade items for the berries, but at a high cost. People became poor because they had to sell their few possessions to get a berry. The land was going wasted since the man had it all, but was too busy guarding the berries to do anything with it. He built a fort and a temple around the berries."
"When it seemed that the situation couldn't get worse, it did. The leader of this world heard about the powers of the berries, and decided now was the time to attack. My father's forces tried to secure the fort, with the permission of the man, around the berries so that the outside world could not get them. If the berries were captured there was no telling what could happen."
"Women and children were hidden in some of the near by cliffs, while battles went on. During the final battle, the owner of the berries fell. And in his last words, told my father some of the secretes of the berries."
"As the fort began to fall, my father ate a berry and wished for powers to guard them. His wish was granted, but at a price. The amulet, which he wore around his neck, would now become the Guardian's Amulet. Whoever wore it would become the guardian of the berries, and a person could not get to the berries unless they got the amulet from the murdered guardian."
"Even though all of our forces were killed, my father was able to keep the berries out of the outlander's hands, with the powers the amulet gave him to turn into a beast. With the temple secured, father returned to the caves to my mother and her one year old child, me."
"Father figured if he were to send me and my mother elsewhere, with the amulet, the berries would forever be safe. So with the power of the berry, father sent me, my mother, and the amulet to the future."
"The worlds we knew no longer existed as they had. Nanopia had been destroyed from existence. But that tree gate leads to its past, right after all the inhabitants had been destroyed, but before the world itself was destroyed."
"My mother trained me for the day our prophecy told us about. 'One day five shall come together for the rebirth of the world of Nanopia. With ice, fire, lightning, animal, and earth powers under their command. Their spiritual powers shall come together and save the universe from a destructive force.'"
"My mother was killed by that physical science teacher, when he had attacked our city block. I fought to gain revenge for her and technically I should be dead now. He inflicted fatal wounds, but some unknown power arrived on this planet and a magical barrier protected me. I think it was you and your friends. You control fire and she controls ice, right? If we can find lightning and earth… We can fulfill the prophecy!" Glenn realized.
"My friend back at the shelter, controls lightning… Wait a minute! Are you the one who control animal?" asked the girl.
"Yes I am," replied Glenn. "Royalty of Nanopia always had a bond with animal. Now tell me, how did you and your friends join together?"
