Enraged "Monster" Soun Tendou
Quarrel. Combat. Danger. Ruin. Sudden death.
This card was chosen for more comedic purposes, although the full meaning of the card is one of a serious nature. Whenever Soun becomes highly enraged (at Ranma, mainly), this huge monster-like head version of him flashes in the background. To disobey him when he is in this infuriated state is definitely an unwise mood. Ranma, perhaps the strongest martial artist of them all, cowers away and instantly darts off to do whatever it is Soun wishes (usually something involved in protecting or saving his precious daughters).
Laichi (Raichi, Lychee)
Hope. Unexpected help. Dreaminess. Disappointment.
After Akane was kidnapped by Kirin, Laichi helps the Ranma team to understand what's going on and gives them a ride on her boat (after they punch a hole in it though). She had dreamt of a prince on a white horse that would save her from her "miserable life" ever since she was a small child. When he finally shows up, he takes the wrong girl, leaving the anguished Laichi behind. After the whole adventure, however, she has matured somewhat and lost some of her belief in "rescuing princes", even though she eventually does marry Kirin.
Tsubasa Kurenai
Illusion. Deception. Bewilderment. Hysteria. Dreaminess. Falsehood. Voluntary change.
With his outrageous sense of cross-dressing and disguise, Tsubasa is often mistaken to be an object such as a mailbox, sign, Christmas tree, etc. and even more often believed to be a girl. However, "she" is actually a "he" (as is so often the case in this series). Unlike other characters, like Ranma, though, Tsubasa's gender-bending is by choice, not by water. When in female form, though, he tends to overplay it, being somewhat hysterical and hyperactive.
The Gambling King
Glory. Gain. Riches. Triumph. Shamelessness. Arrogance.
The Gambling King acquires the majority of his money by scamming little kids in card games. At one point, he even manages to win the Tendo Dojo and most of the Tendo household. He seems to have no moral conscience whatsoever and is more than happy to continue ripping off little kids. Although he acts as though he could beat anyone, the truth is that he can only beat little children and is a failure against an adult (except for Ranma and Soun, that is.)
Ranma and Akane's Wedding
Final decision concerning the past. New current for the future. Always represents the taking of a definite step.
Throughout the entire series, the issues of "love" and "marriage" are neatly skipped around and avoided. It is not until the end of the series that things seem to be resolved. Akane and Ranma are finally going to get married, helping to put away the teasing and embarrassment they engaged in previously. Marriage definitely means a "new future current" and is definitely a major step in anyone's life.
Tendo Dojo, Fuurinkan High, and Everyone
The essence of all. Eternal repetition, sometimes a "vicious cycle." Every subject has a counterpart.
I chose the places of the dojo and the high school for this card because they are the setting for most of the series. Both places are seen in almost every storyline. Repetition comes from the picture of everyone, because Rumiko Takahashi keeps hinting at something about to happen (love)... and then another thing occurs to prevent it. Also, every character appears to have a counterpart that they could be connected with, no matter who they are. Just think about it.

All of the webpage art on this page, except the dragon baby (and obviously the tarot card images), comes from "Moyra's Web Jewels". She has tons of great themes for your homepages, so I'd highly advise checking her work out. Simply click on the banner below to go to her site:
As for that cute little baby dragon (as well as the super deformed angel elf that I use on my main pages), I got that picture from "Daemoness' Anime Haven". She has lots of cool transparent image files as well as cels and a fansubbing studio. Simply click on the banner below to go to her site:
