Swords represent the element of air. They stand for the mind, mental energy, consciousness, wisdom, and the intellect. The world of Swords is the world of recognition, decision, ideas, and judgments. Swords deal with thought and imagination, with conscious and distinct perceptions of the world and oneself, with originality, freedom, the learning process, and clarity. Libra, Aquaries, and Gemini are the astrological signs of the Sword and of the element of air. "Well-dignified", they indicate intellectual matters. "Ill-dignified", they indicate sickness, depression, trouble, and death.

To decrease loading time, I have divided the cards up onto different pages. All of the Minor Arcana not in the Royal Suite have a single word that can be associated with each card. This has been placed beside the number.
