The Mage Wars Trilogy
The Black Gryphon
The time is the end of the Great Mage Wars. Two archmages, Urtho, Mage of Silence, and Kiyamvir Ma’ar are locked in a death struggle. In Urtho’s camp are two dear friends, Amberdrake k’Leshya and Skandranon Rashkae, the Black Gryphon. When it becomes increasingly clear that Ma’ar, Mage of Conquest, will do anything to finish off Urtho’s brave army, Drake, Skan, and many others must risk all to save themselves. But the Great War has a conclusion that no one, foreseer or farseer could have predicted, a conclusion that ravages the earth as well as bodies, and will leave scars for thousands of years . . .
The White Gryphon
The War has been over for ten years. One clan of Kaled’a’in, k’Leshya, has been flung farther south than any other. They build their city, White Gryphon, on the western seacoast of Velgarth. Unknown to the survivors of the Cataclysm, their new city is inside the borders of the Haileigh Empire, a collection of six states that is thousands of years old. When the mighty Haileigh emperor, King Shalaman, sends word that an alliance must be made, Drake, Skan, and their wives(Winterhart and Zhaneel) and children(Windsong, Keenath and Tadrith) go to the Court at Khimbata to settle the matter. But something is amiss in the court. When four Court Ladies are mysteriously slain, Drake and Skan must find the killers, before the murders are pinned on them. The loss of an alliance means the destruction of White Gryphon . . .
The Silver Gryphon
Windsong, daughter of Amberdrake, has changed her name to Silverblade, and is a member of the Silvers(the Silvers are the police force of White Gryphon). Tadrith, one of Skan’s twins, is her partner. Both are trying to escape from their parents’ shadows. They accept a half year guard at Outpost Five, the farthest flung border outpost. But the magic is sucked from their transport, and they crash into the midst of a huge rainforest. Alone, injured, and with no means of communication, they are stranded. But the worst is yet to come. The same force that struck them from the sky is stalking them on the ground. It is a deadly pack of phantoms . . .
