Subject: Match report against Ah Chiu's Telecom team (29 Aug 98)

The match took place on 29 Aug, at Cheung Sha Wan venue. We had a lot of
players: Martin, Empty (Ghost of Sewage), Ninja, Mak Kam To, Turtle, Fat
Tak, Mr. Lai, Mr. Ho, Panda, Andrew, Michael, Kei Yan, Ng Wai Wing and Ah
Hong (6 substitutes). Ah Chiu played on their side and they had five
substitutes.

The game started with 8 players each side and lost its balance without too
soon. Their goalkeeper, a very tall guy in red, showed obvious weakness in
goalkeeping. Anyway our first goal came a little bit later than expectation.
Turtle shot and their goalkeeper helped us to put the ball in the net.
Before that Mr. Lai had already hit the post twice.

Then the game turned around a little bit and they geared up trying to
recover. While our substitutes worried about it, Mak Kam To "tunnelled"
their goalkeeper (Ah Chiu) and made it 2-0. While they still did not give
up, Mr. Ho smashed their hope by a powerful right foot shoot.

After that both team seemed satisfied with status quo. Here came Fat Tak
displayed outstanding skills and scored the next two goals. Five-zero.

We had to thank Ah Chiu for our sixth goal. Without him encouraging his
teammates to carry on, how could we score without an opponent? Andrew headed
the ball in at far post, a position while I remember he had scored in a
similar manner before.

By the way thanks to Ah Hong, Martin and Kei Yan, who in great shape denied
their offenses while others were too busy attacking in the front. Their best
chance was a loop from the red guy (remember?). Kei Yan, as the goalkeeper,
pushed up the falling ball professionally.

After the match Ah Chiu as usual reminded us that one of their key player
did not turn up, otherwise...

Panda

P.S. Mr. Tsang, where have you been lately? Monopolizing the games with Kwai
Tsing Women's Team?
