Touya has a younger sister, Sakura, whom he bullies very often. Despite this, he is always ready to protect her in times of danger. He has a special ability in him that allows him to " feel " spiritual beings around him, hence explaining why he likes ghosts and why he is beginning to be suspicious of Sakura's secret job as a Card Captor.

He is an arch enemy of Syaoran because he is worried that Syaoran is up to no good towards Sakura. The minor quarrels and fights between them are always very hilarious ! Touya has a good friend called Yukito, whom Sakura and Syaoran both adores and sometimes Touya wonders why Syaoran likes Yukito since both of them are guys.

The way Touya behaves around Yukito sometimes causes me to wonder whether he is just acting as a good friend or otherwise ... ^^
