This was an e-mail I recieved a few days ago concerning my petition:

Don't let it end!  MST3K is our family's favorite show!  My 14-year old son Bobby was very detached from the rest of us and spent most of his time alone, both at home and at school.  Once we found that this was something we could all enjoy, we started viewing it together.  I never knew how sophisticated he was until I heard him laugh at some of the arcane references made by the characters.  From that day on, MST3K has been a regular part of our house.  We even bought a new satellite TV system only after we made sure that it carried the Sci Fi channel.  (MST3k is the only show we watch regularly on Sci Fi.)  Bobby joined an MST3K fan club on-line and even built his own full-size Tom Servo.  Maybe it's just a coincidence, but he's now much more plugged in at school, too.  He has made new friends and begun participating in extra-curricular activities.  He's won numerous awards for his artistic endeavors, some of which have an MST3K theme. Please don't take away this wonderful, witty, sophisticated show.  Life just won't be the same at our house if you do!
