Ignorance is Bliss:
Plot outline:
Dr. Tofu, who is living in another city, goes over some obscure
techniques, one of which deals with memory. While using it, an image of
the most beautiful girl he's ever seen pops into his head and something
about Nerima.
Trying to find out why he has this memory, he goes to Nerima to see if he
can find this girl. When he runs into Kasumi, all his memories flood back
in... but Kasumi doesn't seem to remember him.
Dr. Tofu sets out to fix that...
Some time later... Ryoga accidentally gets wet in front of Akane, turning
into P-Chan. For some reason, Akane believes Ryoga had just gotten lost,
and then when she sees P-Chan and acts as if she hadn't seen him
transform. Ranma and everyone else try to convince her Ryoga is P-Chan,
but she won't accept it, despite Ryoga changing form several times. Akane
was only starting to think Ryoga is a pervert for being nude in the dining
room.
Dr. Tofu returns at that moment, explaining her memory was erased of her
knowledge that Ryoga is P-Chan. That he can cure her. They act
suspiciously at him because they don't know him. But they relent in
hopes Akane will see the truth about her pet.
Akane was a bit upset, but allowed the doctor wash her hair. What harm
could some shampoo do? If she lost her hair, he's dead. Her memories
started to flood into her mind. That she loves Ranma with all her heart,
that she's Saotome Akane, and Cologne had used shiatsu to cause...
Akane immediately demanded everyone had their memory restored. Ranma was
unnaturally reluctant to this idea. Dr. Tofu returned Nabiki's and
Ryoga's mind. Nabiki went to get the wedding documentation she had.
Ryoga got REALLY depressed. Akane malleted Ranma to slumber land to get
him the treatment.
When Ranma awakes he remembers that a couple months ago he went on a
'training trip' that was actually when he eloped with Akane and had a
honeymoon. Cologne had found out and erased his memory of it.
Akane gets Ranma to hold off attacking the Chinese gang. She suspects
Shampoo and Mousse are also victims. The true threat is Cologne.
They return everyone's memory. They even used it on Happosai, who had
some of his memories blocked as well.
They also got the memories of Ukyou, Kuno, Kodachi (she wasn't affected but
they tried), and finally Shampoo and Mousse. They all came at Cologne,
prepared to fight... most with the intent of killing her. Cologne uses a
technique to immobilize them. Happosai frees himself and attacks...
They were battling Cologne when Happosai screamed in outrage that she
was responsible for his perverted ways with panties (they use to be only
of woman not their clothes) and that she caused him to forget Tao Wu,
his son. Shampoo became ill, Tao Wu was her grandfather.
Happosai is dealt with, when Ryoga and Ranma free themselves. The rest
of the cast slowly join in.
Cologne takes out Happosai just as Ranma and Ryoga free themselves. The
battle rages on until Akane frees herself and is in berserker rage. Ranma
tries to pull her out of the fight because she'll likely get hurt and/or
killed. Akane refuses, telling Ranma she wants Cologne dead because
Cologne had used shiatsu to cause her to have an abortion.
The battle doesn't last much longer as Ranma, beyond mad, incinerates
Cologne in a chi blast followed by a supreme beating, and another chi
blast. Cologne's remains must be cleaned with a squeegee.
Then the real story occurs, just what was erased, how do they deal with
it, and how do they handle what they did while their mememories were
blocked?
