Scenes from Love Storm or A Weekend Alone

(either)
Ranma moved through a complex kata, not thinking about what he was doing
since too many other things were on his mind.

Ranma started to practice another kata. He sighed.

-----------------------

(Love Storm)
Akane sat not to far away from Ranma, listening to the radio while
cooking lunch. She was still a little upset Auntie Saotome suggested she
follow the motto, 'keep it simple, stupid' when she was cooking. Akane
didn't care if the motto was a quote from somewhere else, it's the fact
Auntie had the nerve to refere to her as being stupid. That Auntie had
said that really hurt.

Akane wanted to be a good cook for Ranma, she could admitt that now. She
wanted to be a good wife to him. For his mother to belittle here cooking
skill made her think that Auntie might not believe she would be a good
wife for Ranma.

But Akane was also confused about that, since Auntie had also suggested
the training trip so she could spend some quiet time with Ranma.

Quiet time with Ranma, something she felt she needed for a long time
now. They rarely got a chance to talk without someone butting in. They
certainly were never given enough time alone to talk without getting
themselves out of whatever hole they put themself in. Hopefully they
could finally admitt their feelings, even if they decide to put on a
show latter that they hadn't.

Ranma still denied that he loves Akane, but after Jusendo Akane had no
doubt that he does love her. She still wanted some confirmation of his
love. She desparately wanted to hear the words from him. Even if he
couldn't say it, she would accept it if he showed how he felt...
physically.

Even thought the wedding attempt had failed, Akane sort of felt they
were married anyway.

Akane was still upset at the failed wedding attempt, even though it
happened weeks ago. She came within an hour of marrying Ranma, but
everyone just had to stop it. Nabiki's invovlement had hurt the most.
She never thought her sister would betray her like that.

--------------------------------

(either)
Ranma awoke to a start, though his mind was still clouded by sleep. He
found himself being hugged by Shampoo... And he could hear Akane crying.
Shampoo must have done something while he was asleep. He didn't want to
open his eyes, but he had to...

Ranma looked down and saw a head of raven black hair buried into his
chest. Akane was the one hugging him. He wasn't exactly sure what to
say. He couldn't even think of why Akane would be in bed with him at the
moment. He felt he had to say something to his crying fiancee. "What's
wrong?"

"Nothing is wrong," was the tearful reply.

"Why are you trying to turn me into a girl?"

Akane giggled a little through her tears. "Because I'm... happy."

Ranma wasn't sure how to respond to that. Why would she being crying if
she's happy? Why is she happy anyway?

Akane moved a little so she couild look at Ranma's face. The movement
made Ranma aware through his still sleep hazed mind that niether of them
were wearing any clothes.

Ranma's mind cleared as it also reeled. He was in bed with Akane, naked,
and she's happy. Something didn't seem right, but he started to remember
the previous night, and what they did.

Akane was confused when she saw Ranma's face flash through various
emotions. "Ranma?"

Ranma really didn't know what to say. He had made love to Akane. There
was no way out of marrying her now. Maybe his best bet was to keep her
happy for the moment so he could sort out his thoughts. "Y-yes, love?"

Ranma was now being hugged with more force than Shampoo ever gave him.
"Urk!"
