The Slayers: Fan Fiction Ideas

While I'm working on FAR too many fan fiction series, I've got a bunch of other fict ideas that I might one day write. I probably won't though. I do have something resembling a life. This list is here to see if anyone wants to use any of my ideas. Asking me to write one of these won't do much good. Now, if you like an idea or teaser and want to use it, just ask me: archive@mich.com

The Slayers: Life
Genre: Original Flavorish

As the defended of Gull Nova, the legendary sword of light, his life was guaranteed to be interesting. And an interesting life is indeed a curse for young Gabriev and his love as they team up with an obsessive mage in hopes of defeating an insane magic-smith before he can complete his greatest master piece. And what is with the oddly familiar old man who visits them in their sleep?

Can Sairaag survive the plans of Zanator Farmore and his hideous chimeric beast, Zanafar? Can Raudy and Mellyroon Gabriev defeat this menace with the help of Rezo the Red? As the ancient dream sage put it, 'It is destined for Raudy to win this fight. However, what will the cost of the victory be? That is the true question.'

Despite that Raudy defeated the mazoku, Joyrock, with the aid of a sorceress; many of the elves would not abide Mellyroon's choice of husband. Rather than cause disharmony with the elven people, Raudy and Mellyroon left to find themselves a new home. Through their travels after leaving Mipross Island they have been aided/annoyed by an Ancient Mage who invades their dreams and sometimes moves them through time to where they will need to be. They don't know that the mage is actually Raudy from a timeline where Mellyroon was killed in Joyrock's assault, and he has sent them to times and places he had been needed in his timeline, such as to fight against Zanafar.

Rezo the Red is a kind, if a bit obsessive, healer. He dreams of the day he would finally be able to see, however the Ancient Mage's attempts to dissuade Rezo from his path destruction only solidified his determination.

The Slayers: Homecoming
Genre: Original Flavorish

Lina gets a message from home and decides to go to her hometown with Gourry. Seems Luna is getting married, and Lina can see the rest of her relatives, including her Mom and Dad, while Luna will be too busy to see much of her younger sister.

Along the road Lina bumps into Amelia, who's trying to keep her mission a secret. Lina eventually finds out what it is. Seems that the son of Zefilia's Eternal Queen is getting married soon and there will be a major assassination attempt on the queen's life. Amelia was being sent to get the aid of the Ceiphied Knight.

Lina goes on a rant about 'that bitch getting a man like him.' This confuses Amelia until Lina points out that invitation to the prince's wedding is at the same time and place as Luna's. Luna was going to marry the prince, and Lina doesn't think that was fair. Lina also points out that Amelia will have to redo the plans since the Ceiphied Knight is the bride.

Lina arrives at the Dragon's Lair Inn late in the evening during a rain storm.

Amelia shook water off her clothes. "I wanted to make a good first impression."
"You wanted to make a good impression." Lina's wet hair clung to her face. "Think about it from my perspective."
"Oh, yes. The drown rat look is so good for you."
Lina's eyes widened in fright.
The waitress turned towards the kitchen. "Hey, Mom, Dad, come look at what the cat dragged in, a little mouse!"
"Stop picking on you sister," echoed from the kitchen. "Sister?"
Lina watched in dread as the three hundred pound cook rushed toward her and hugged her.
"You're back! You're back!"
"Mom... I can't breathe." Lina choked. "Help!"
Zelgadis looked at his cup of coffee wondering if it had been spiked or if he was dreaming. His waitress had gone from nice and sweet to insulting Lina and getting away with it. Not to mention the red-hiared, three hundred pound and over developed chef hugging Lina. All he was trying to do was find the Ceiphied Knight to see if he had any information, whoever he was. All Zelgadis knew was that the knight was in this area.

The Slayers: Zelgadis Half
Genre: Serious side of original flavor

After many, many attempts, Zelgadis finally discovers a means to be human. Problem, the spell or magic item turns him into a female human. Not only that, but he will change from chimera to woman by something that is common: water, casting magic, stress, sunlight, phases of the moon (all been done), sneezing, anyone saying a certain word or phrase that's a bit common, or drinking coffee.

Of course while Zelgadis is dealing with his new curse with the rest of the slayers crew, some new threat arrives which should give Zelgadis some advantages, as well as a few disadvantages.
