Sonnet of the Impact (something from English Class that became anime-related) If the heavens come down upon us now, Let me fight back, defenseless I shan't die. With the spear I smite thee, I swear I vow The cruel angels will decay as we fly. Man fears the dark, Man scrapes the dark away. They fight fate, they challenge apocalypse The angels attack, dragging man from day Into the night, plunging into eclipse. As the world ends, I only pray for bliss. Farewell to life, to love, to all we are. In death we fly, I greet Death with a kiss We all hold hands as we fly to that star We can be happy as long as we live.
