Amiboshi and Suboshi were orphaned
when they were young in a terrible civil war in Kutou. There family was
killed and they grew up trusting only each other. They are very close to
each other, what one feels, so does the other, both physically and mentally.
After Amiboshi's questionable death, Suboshi was so upset and emotionally
overwrought that it was no problem for Nakago to subtley persuade him to
murder Tamahome's cute little family. A family for a family. It must
have seemed pretty fair to him. Later it was discovered that Amiboshi was
not actually dead, but had been found and taken in by an old man and woman.
They had given him something to erase his memory, so he remembered nothing
until he found Miaka.
Suboshi uses the weapon Ryuuseisui which I believe is
manipulated by his seishi powers. It's basically a rope with dettachable
balls on either end. It looks really funny, but trust me it AIN'T. He used
it to kill Tamahome's family and in the end, it was the cause of his
death.
