ZAKZAK reports that a france soccer magazine, "France Football", ranked Yoshikatsu kun at no.19 of a election of "Best Goal Keeper in World Cup '98". Totally, there are 32 GK in France World Cup, and Yoshikatsu kun is ranked as 19, don't you think it is quite good? For more information, please click here. On the other hand, the election of "the most handsome soccer player in World Cup" by HK star has come to an end. Yoshikatsu kun got 131 votes and is ranked at no.2. (no.1 is Beckham, 433 votes while the total number of votes is 916) But for "the best goal keeper", Yoshikatsu got an extermely high number of votes (249 out of 766) and he got No.1 in this election!!! The result of the third match of Japan Team (vs Jamaica) in World Cup is 1 : 2. Although Japan Team lost again, they got their first goal in World Cup. By they way, Yoshikatsu was taking very serious in this match. His smile was a little bit fewer then before... Maybe he was really under a great pressure. Anyway, Japan Team really done a great job!! |

According to the report from Japan, a soccer team in Spain is planning to use 340000000 yen for inviting Yoshikatsu kun to go Spain and join their team... The news has not been confirmed yet. But I am quite worry about it. It's because it will be much more difficult to know Yoshikatsu kun's news if he really immigrated to Spain. But playing soccer in Europe is Yoshikatsu kun's dream.... |

Japan Team lost in the second match. Yoshikatsu kun missed a shoot by Suker from Croatia Team. This made Japan impossible to enter the 2nd round matches in World Cup '98. He was very sad about it. According to the news from Japan, it seemed that Yoshikatsu kun and other Japan team members cried in front of the locker in the changing room after this match... really feel sad about it... |
