Hino Rei is the daughter of a politician and the granddaughter of
a Shinto priest. She herself is a miko--
a Shinto priestess-- and dresses in the traditional hakama. Because
of her religious connections, she has abilities which supplement her
powers as a senshi. She seems to be one of the most opinionated of
the inner senshi-- debatably, of any of them-- and even though she
has more than one clash with Usagi or Sailor Moon, Mars really does
care for her princess, and dies for her on several occasions.
