- Sailormoon is originally a Japanese show.
- The North American version of the episode Day of Destiny was cut from
two episodes to one.
- Zoisite is actually a guy, unlike the NA version.
- Zoisite is actually gay, with Kunzite.
- There is a Pegasus named Helios, who is protector of Chibi-Usa (unsure
--;).
- In Japanese, the name of the show is actually Sailormoon, and not Sailor
Moon. The character is Sailor Moon, but the show is Sailormoon.
- In the Japanese version, Mamoru calls Usagi "Odango Atama"
(dumpling head) and not "meatball head".
- Sailor Moon doesn't always defeat the enemies.
- Despite their frequent arguments, Rei (Mars) is Usagi's (Moon's) closest
friend.
- Sailormoon is probably the most popular animated show in the ENTIRE
WORLD!
- Chiba Mamoru never stops loving Sailormoon.
- Safiiru and Prince Demando were not always evil.
- Grandpa is a pervert (hentai, ecchi) in the Japanese version.
- Catsy is the youngest sister in the 4 sisters, but the North American
dub says that she is the oldest.
- In the episode where the senshi perform 'Snow White', Mako actually
says that she should play Snow White because she has the largest breasts.
- There are 10 Sailor Senshi.
- Usagi calls Mamoru, "Mamo-chan".
- Mamoru calls Usagi, "Usako".
- Yuuichiro (Chad) is not actually a singer in the Japanese version.
- When Rei kisses Chad in the ski episode, she actually kisses him for
no reason, and then she feels surprised.
- In the Sailormoon S Movie, Luna transforms into a human.
- Sailor Saturn starts off as an enemy to the Senshi.
- Sailor Moon is cancelled and we need support from fans.
- Sailormoon, the first season, dealt with the first five senshi. Moon,
Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Chibi-Moon (not from the first season,
but when she came, she became a very main character) are the six main characters
of the show and are reffered to as the 'Inner Senshi'.
- Later on in Sailormoon, other senshi appear, and they are not as close
or kind as the Inner Senshi. They are called the 'Outer Senshi'. They are
composed of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
- Here are the names (birth name, then other nichnames, then name after
senshi) of the ten senshi.

Notes:
Chibi-Usa's real name is Tsukino Usagi, as she was named after her mother.
Most of the people who have a nickname that ends in '-chan', are closer
to the inner senshi than someone who's nickname ends in '-san'.
- Chibi-Usa can talk to Helios (mentioned above) using a type of chalice.
- Sailor Pluto's nickname is Puu
- Chibi-Usa has a time travel key, which is similar to Puu's.
- Sailormoon was originated from the manga (Japanese comic book) named,
"Codename: Sailor V" (someone tell me the exact title).
- The Sailor V game is in Sailormoon because of its' connection with
the manga.
- Sailor Venus is Sailor V, but is known as Venus after she appears on
the show.
- In Japanese, Sailor V is pronounced, 'Sailaa Buii'.
- Sailormoon R episode 89 is not actually and episode. It is actually
a sort of 'Sailormoon and Sailormoon R review'.
- In the future, Luna and Artemis have a grey kitten named Diana.
- In the Sailormoon R movie, Fiore is of the same breed as Ail and Ann
from the first half of Sailormoon R.
- In one episode of Sailormoon S, Minako dresses up as Sailormoon to
protect Usagi's identity. Check out the 'odango'.
- In the manga, 'Codename Sailor V', Sailor V has two close friends who
resemble Ami and Umino (Melvin). Their actual names are Hikari and Amano.
- For unknown reasons, when DiC dubbed the episodes, they changed the
name of 'Tsukikage no Knight' (MoonShadow Knight) to Moonlight Knight.
In Japanese, Moonlight Knight would be 'Tsukihikari ni Knight'.
- Sailor Stars, the most current season of Sailormoon, introduces 3 new
senshi. Their names are, Sailor Star Maker, Sailor Star Healer and Sailor
Star Fighter.
- In an episode of Sailormoon S, you find out that Rei really does care
for Yuuichiro, and is very sad when he almost leaves. It's so sad, that
they have to play one of those songs that they play at emotional or powerful
parts of the show.
- The Amazoness Quartet become good by the Sailor Senshi in Sailormoon
Super S.
- In the manga, the Amazoness Quartet become the Asteroid Senshi after
they become good.
- In Sailormoon R, Wiseman infuses Chibi-Usa with Dark Energy, and she
becomes the evil Black Lady.
- The evil leader in the Sailormoon Super S series is Queen Neherenia,
and she is like Queen Beryl, after being powered up by Metalia, times 10.
She is defeated by the Golden Crystal.
- In Sailor Stars, Mamoru leaves for America, but before he leaves, he
gives Usagi a ring, and puts it on her engagement/marriage finger.
- Usagi begins to become graceful (finally) in Sailor Stars.
- The 3 Sailor Starlights, Sailor Star Fighter, Sailor Star Maker and
Sailor Star Healer, are actually male before they transform, and during
the transformation, you see their body, and light passes over it and it
becomes female (nothing gross, just obvious).
- Seiya, or Sailor Star Fighter, feels some strange attraction to Usagi,
and he is always talking to her.
- In Sailor Stars, because Tuxedo Kamen leaves, the Sailor Starlights
make up for his leave and always appear to toast the "kyo no bakemono"
(today's monster).
- Queen Neherenia traps herself in a mirror to retain her beauty at the
end of Super S.
- Queen Neherenia returns at the beginning of Sailor Stars, and she is
defeated for good.
- The main enemy in Sailor Stars is the superb, Sailor Galaxia, who looks
VERY strong, and like most other enemies of the senshi, is female.
- Seiya-kun is a superb athelete, and an arrogant one at that.
- Seiya, Yaten and Taiki are in a music group together. The name is "The
3 Lights". They are referred to as an 'idol group' by most girls.
- Seiya, Yaten and Taiki all go to Usagi, Minako, Makoto and Ami's school.
- Minako follows the 3 lights everywhere.
- Although all the other senshi become very hyper when the 3 lights are
around, Ami is the biggest fan. They all had fan cards in the episode where
the 3 lights come to Usagi's school, and Ami's card was a gold card (I
don't know why it was special, but it implied that she was a HUGE fan).
- Seiya acts a lot like Haruka, and Seiya is kind of like an idol to
the senshi.
- DiC cut out episode 67 of SMR, which is an episode where the girls
go to the beast, and there is an encounter with a Loch Ness.
- There is a group of enemies, similar to the generals in Sailormoon
Super S. They are the 3 brothers. They are Fish Eye, Hawk Eye and Tigers
Eye. They are very omoshiroi (interesting), and they turn good before they
die. They turn good mostly due to Fish Eye's crush on Mamoru (Fish Eye
acts like a girl, and when he uses a disguise, he's a girl).
- In Mamoru's dream that asks him to stay away from Usagi, Mamoru is
actually the voice. His future self, in Crystal Tokyo is telling himself
not to be with Usagi, as they will be hurt. BTW, his future self is Neo-King
Endymion.
- In Sailormoon Sailor Stars, Mamoru leaves Japan for USA. While on the
plane, a flash of Gold Light (from Galaxia) makes the plane disappear,
along with Mamoru.
- The Sailor Starlights have excellent attacks, and here they are.
Sailor Star Fighter |
Star Serious Laser |
Sailor Star Maker |
Star Gentle Uterus |
Sailor Star Healer |
Star Sensitive Inferno |
- The word 'Sailor' is pronounced differently in Japan. It is 'Say-raa'.
- Although the name 'Ami' or 'Amy' is common for both the DiC and Japanese
version, they are pronounced differently. Amy is pronounced normally, but
in Japan, Ami (which is Sailor Mercury's name) is pronounced 'Ah-mee'.
- Sailor Uranus (Haruka) is very suspicious of Seiya, and suspects he's
a senshi.
- Haruka even tells Usagi to stay away from Seiya as he's "dangerous".
- In Crystal Tokyo (Sailormoon R), Neo-Queen Serenity is originally in
an Eternal sleep because Chibi-Usa takes the Ginzuishou (Silver Crystal)
out of it's protection, and it is immediately stolen.
- Chibi-Usa takes the crystal out of the protective shield because she
wants to quickly mature into a strong woman like her mother, instead of
gradually becoming one. She thought the crystal would make her better.
- Chibi-Usa is shown to be very much like a young Usagi in Crystal Tokyo,
as she is very similar.
- Although Chibi-Usa looks like a little girl, she is actually 400 years
old. Time was delayed by Neo Queen Serenity, and everyone of Usagi's family
(I think :> ) aged.
- In Sailormoon Super S, it is shown that a great bond exists between
Helios and Endymion. I believe that Endymion will be Helios' future father
in law.
- Eternal Sailormoon's wings were actual wings in the manga.
- All the senshi have Eternal-esque fuku (outfits) now.
