 | I just received an e-mail and it tells a really SAD info about how Namie Amuro is doing~ (don't know if it is true) Translated by KEN CHAN Data source: Mainichi Daily News ~~~~ April 10th 1998
There goes the neighborhood!
Newlywed female celebrities are often too busy to spend much time at home -- and when they do, they often find themselves flat on their backs, according to Shukan Hoseki. But it seems that some recently married stars are finding the time in their nuptial bliss to pay a visit to their new neighbors and pave the way for healthy relations. Nonetheless, others are errant and have incurred the wrath of those around them. The weekly takes a look at how the stars behave at home away from the eyes of the people living closest to them - their neighbors.
(Finally we get to Amuro's part! get some tissues first)
"I've seen her walking around and wearing these dirty clothes. She looks so lonely-- that's probably what attracts her to those rice balls she buys at the local convenience store," says a person living in the same swank Tokyo condominium as superstar singer Namie Amuro. "I saw (Amuro's husband) Sam comforting her when she was acting hysterical in the elevator, yelling at him for coming home late."
Shukan Hoseki notes that Sam suddenly gained incredible popularity when he became "Mr. Amuro" on Oct. 23 last year with the announcement of his marriage to the 20-year-old singer. An announcement, incidentally, that was accompanied by the disclosure that the couple are also expecting a baby.
The extra work that came Sam's way with his meteoric rise to fame on the back of Amuro's coattails took him away from his pregnant wife, the weekly says. Sam's absene from home rubbed the star of her mental security and the couple's neighbors of their peace of forlorn hysterics because her husband is not around.
While Amuro may not have taken her neighborhood by storm in the way she dominated the nation's music charts.
