What? Mick Jagger's not wise enough for you? *L* It's a fitting quote, though, because I'm a firm believer that things always work out in the end, whether or not it's the way you hoped they would...which is nice, because it doesn't leave a lot of room for regrets when something goes "wrong". Which is also nice, because it means that I don't have to go through life being all bitter and resentful, because there's really no point if everything's going to work out for the best anyways. ^_^ Mako's philosophy of life, in a nutshell.
I really don't have much to write about this month, because for the vast majority of last month I was so busy with school that I didn't even have time to think (about anything else, that is). Not necessarily a bad thing, actually; sometimes it's just easier not to have to think...
Words of the month: HUSHFITTING, a pseudo-word I found in the Air Canada annual report (no, I do NOT read those just for pleasure! :). Oh, and now that I think about it, PSEUDO. ^_^
April events! Easter on the 4th, of course, and Earth Day on the 22nd...my good friend Shukuko's birthday is the 25th, and I think that's it for the month, except that classes end for me and I have to write finals, sigh. Oh, wait, I'm wrong, there's been one major event already--major, at least, for we Canadians: as of April 1, we have a new territory up north! It's called Nunavut (noonahvoot), which means "our land" in Inuktitut (the language of the Inuit), and it replaced the eastern part of the Northwest Territories. The new capital is Iqaluit. *L* And I'm sure there are a bunch of people now reading this and thinking, "what the heck is the Northwest Territories?". Well, all I have to say to that is, we learn YOUR geography in school, and I really don't think it's that hard to remember 10 provinces and 3 territories, is it? =)
Like I said, March was pretty quiet, with the exception of the last few days...sorry, though, you don't get details on that. ^_^Let's just say it was an interesting week...but like I said, no regrets. It was worth every minute, good and bad. Besides, I'm also a firm believer that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and hey, I'm not dead yet!
That's it for now, so goodbye, and be sure to visit the archive on your way out!
Until next month,
