Wow, can you believe I'm actually updating right on time for a change? Early, even, because as I write this it's only June 30th. It's amazing what I can do with a little spare time and my brother gone to camp for the summer...now I only have to fight my Dad to get on the comp. ^_^Anyways, I'm in a terribly good mood today, because July has got to be one of my favourite months--and not just because it's my birthday, either. More because it seems like it's EVERYONE'S birthday...plus it's summer...it's like a month-long party around here!
So...for birthdays, we have Canada's on the 1st, America's on the 4th, and mine is right in between them on the 3rd of July (same birthday as Tom Cruise, believe it or not)...my friend Val's is on the 11th, Caroline's is on the 21st, and Shawn's is the 30th (I think! =). And my next-door neighbour, Logan, is going to be 7 on the 31st! For a multicultural note, July 5th is the Venezuelan national holiday, July 7th is the Tanabata festival in Japan, the 9th is the Argentinian holiday, the 14th is Bastille Day in France, and we have Irag, Colombia, and Belgium in there too (on the 17th, 20th, and 21st, respectively). (All information, as usual, from Blue Mountain Cards).
Remember those koala bears I told you about? Well, I get to go see them, on July 5th. I don't have a working camera any more, but I'll bring back a postcard to scan, ok? Except that I don't have a working scanner at the moment, either...*sigh*
Words of the month: AZO, which is some kind of chemistry term (Russ will be so proud), and SHEATH, once again because I just like the way it sounds.
I'm sure some of you have noticed that I managed to do a full update this month, checking the links and everything! I had to take out a bunch of dead ones, but I'll try to add some new links this month (for a change). Although with all the birthdays, I may not find time! I've also added a new page, a Quotes Archive, which is a kind of quick-reference of all the great quotes I've used on this page. You can find that on the Archive page, or just use this link.
Well, I believe that's all I had to say, so goodbye and I'll see you next month!
Until then,
Sailor Jupiter Says...
Happy
Canada Day!!
