I'm a Com Sci/Marketing
major (B.Sc/B.Mgt) at the University of Lethbridge, Leth., Alberta, CANADA!!
This is my first homepage. Let's see...my friends got me into SM,
of course, but I've had a serious interest in all things Japanese since
grade 10, when I started taking it at school (thanks Tani-sensei!).
One of my best friends is a former exchange student from Sapporo, and last
summer I went for a two-week exchange, and completely fell in love.
Ever since I got home, I've wanted to go back!
Other faves: X-Files,
Ally
McBeal (if you haven't seen it, do whatever it takes!), Nikita,
and Pretender
for
TV shows, Braveheart and French Kiss for movies, green for colour (can
you tell?) and blue as well, and for music, well, I like everything.
Even some country (but not much!). My friends all laugh at me because
I have such weird tastes in music...Our
Lady Peace to Loreena
McKennitt to Eric Clapton (especially his blues album!) and everything
in between.
What else? Sailor Jupiter wasn't actually my choice--my friends who
know all about SM gave me the nickname before I even knew anything about
the show, because I have long brown hair and I'm the tallest, and partly
because (they say) I have the same personality. I love to cook--I
think that was the main thing! And I bake brownies when my friends
are depressed.... Other fave anime series are Rurouni Kenshin, Oh!
My Goddess, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Mahou Tsukai Tai, and Slayers...fave
movies are Tonari no Totoro, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and If
You Listen Closely (Hiyao Miyazaki rocks!!).
My best friend is Alyssa, but we all call her Rei--she even has the same
violent temper sometimes! And then there's Caroline, who is the closest
thing behaviour-wise that I've ever seen to a real-life Sailor Moon.
She even wears her hair in meatballs sometimes! (Scary, isn't it?!)
Of course, they both have SM homepages. Check my links!
OK, well that's more than you ever needed or wanted to know about my little
world, right? ;-) But before you go, check out these links
to my other friends' homepages:
