Among about 20 million labour force of
Korea, 52% are on service, 27% on mining and manufacturing and 21% on agriculture,
fishery and forestry.
This figure used to be opposite 30 to
40 years ago. Rice farming was a traditional living source in Korea.
However industrialization has changed
Korean lifestyle.
47% of its GDP is from service sector,
45% from industry and 8% from agriculture etc.
This also shows that Korea is a big factory
of the world ranging from semiconductor to shipbuilding.
