Korean School System

Koreans are very concerned about their children's education.
Every school term begins at the beginning of the 3rd month of the year.
And children aged between 6 and 7 enter primary school ever year.
Primary school is mandatory and free of charge unless a child goes to a private school.

kindergarten (age upto 5)
primary school - 6 years
middle school - 3 years
high school - 3 years
university - 4 years

School fees range 500,000 - 1,500,000 won for secondary education and 3 to 8 million won for university per year.
