An-an's Review of "Horizons"

1. ¶}©ñ¤é -(from the Young and Dangerous movie)to tell the truth, the first time I heard this song, I thought it was pretty awful, but after a few times, I liked it a lot better. Very upbeat, except for the chorus-where he sounds kind of out of breath, the singing is pretty good(good enunciation)

2. ¦pªG¥u±o¤@¬P´Á-really pretty melody. I like the song alot, but I think his singing is pretty awful in this song, especially when he gets to the higher keys. cute lyrics.

3. ¦­ª¾-probably one of my favorite tracks on the whole cd. only problem is the pronunciation of words at the beginning. Really catchy melody, D lyrics ¦n¥¿§r!!! i think maybe they could remix this song like they did to µLÁn¥é¦³Án and jazz it up a bit, cuz if you listen to this song too much, it starts to sound a bit draggy..but an awesome song!!!

4.ÁÂÁ§Aµ¥§Ú-um...not bad, but nothing very spectacular about it. Melody is pretty nice, but very common. sweet, but a little too..overdone(sounds kind of like a song from the eighties)

5. «e«e«á«á¥ª¥ª¥k¥k-(Young and Dangerous movie)The beginning is probably one of the best parts of the song. I like this song alot because it's so upbeat and catchy. His pronunciation of some words in this song is a bit blurry, so you can't really understand what he's singing at times.

6. §A±¡¤H¦b¨º¸Ì-Again, his singing is kinda blurry and hard to understand in the beginning. very nice song, his singing in this song is very ·P¤H..

7. ¤J¤f·R±¡-pretty intro, though i think it should've been longer, and beginning though he needs to work on those high notes. chorus sounds kind of out of place and seems to start out of nowhere. very pretty backround.

8.¤j¥@¬É-ooh...i like this song!!!awesome intro. i think the lyrics are pretty cool, and the melody is nice. the chorus is the best part of the whole song. singing in the beginning is a bit off. (song for travel agency commercial)

9. ¤ÑªÅÜ“»ò¤j-yay!! this is also one of the best songs on the cd. intro sounds kinda funny though. his singing sounds pretty solid and his singing in the beginning sounds really good-good control of his voice. his singing is starting to sound a lot more original, and you can hear his own singing style start to develop. some lyrics are a bit corny,though i really like the line "§Ú¦³¤@„r¨½·Q¥@¬É" but otherwise awesome song!!

10. ¬¡¤õ¤s-very cool intro and beginning. but he sings the verses a bit too forceful. chorus sounds really nice and his singing is pretty solid. very typical Young and Dangerous but awesome-er!!! really cool sound, has a catchy ~alterna twist to it.

11. µLÁn¥é¦³Án(24¸¹±ß¤KÂI¨£­±ª©)

-ooh, soo nice, very R&B. really good end to the cd. i actually like this version better than the original because it sounds newer, fresher. very beautiful. and his singing sounds better than his singing in the last version. though i don't particularly like the added voices ("message", "you have no new messages on your server today") but this version has so much more "feel" than the last one (even though i really like the other one also)

Overall, i liked this cd lots!!! i think that his singing needs to improve a bit though, especially the high notes, and controlling his low-key notes (he can sing them, but they often sound out of control) but you can tell from tracks like 10, 11, that his singing has improved immensely since his last cds. i think it's really good that he's starting to develop his own style of singing. this way, his songs will no longer be mixed of with those of Daniel Chan, etc.
